When you pay this much money for a steak, you expect it to be cooked the way you ordered it. That is not what happened here. I ordered it medium, but told her if they were going to be off be closer to medium rare as opposed to medium well. I should’ve just left it at medium. It came out almost rare. Because it was a fillet, I figured I would try and eat it, but it was just too rare so I asked them to please put it back on the grill and cook it a little bit more which they did....
We had our company Christmas party at Rose and Thistle. It was a wonderful evening with great food, drinks and service. Chef Matt and his team went out of their way to make this an outstanding event. Thank you
