We came in around 1:00 on Wednesday there were five people "working" making drinks it took over a half hour to get two drinks when there was only one other customer in front of us. The employees were too busy helping what I assume was an off the clock employee get their correct tea and her friend get a coffee free of charge before the paying customers. Thank god they got her tea right. They were also just talking and joking instead of making coffee. When we finally got our coffee, they did not apologize for the wait or anything. I guess we work for them. Not going to Flying Joe's anymore there are plenty of other local spots in Perrysburg that want our business.

While it is great that a local store has received national attention I must review based on my experience. The inside of the store is just wonderful. It's very busy in here. About 20 minutes from the time I walked in to getting my order. The menu looks great and the cookies and pastries on display look sinful. The lady talking orders was friendly and smiling. Placed my order with a minor customization. When I saw they making what I thought was mine I let one of the baristas know the was a change to my order. She's looked and said yup there's is none in your order. Got my order 5 minutes later got to the car and was made wrong. Went in and explained the mistake and they remede it. Started my drive to a drink and it was awful. It tasted like watered down milk. No coffee flavor. No white chocolate taste. Very disappointed. I HATE, HATE to say this but Starbucks was better.

I recently read The Flying Joe is a top 50 (or maybe it was top100) coffee shop in the US. Whether it’s top 50 or 100, the honor is well deserved. Cool spot, excellent coffee and prompt, efficient service. Always busy, but not overly so. Two big thumbs up!
Parking: A few spots out front, but the majority of spots are in the back.

Amazing coffee with unique flavors and drinks. The price is on par with your standard chains (starbucks/dunkin) but way more flavorful. Haven't tried their food or cocktails but we come once or twice a week for coffee everytime. Highly recommended!

Did an online order yesterday for a coffee and 2 bakery items. After I placed the order for “ASAP” the system told me it would take about 30 minutes, thought that was kind of long. I drove over there, they were very busy. I sat inside for quite a while. Sort of felt like I was being punished for ordering online instead of waiting in line. I was a little unclear as to where my order would be when it was ready. After waiting over 30 minutes I stood in line, and asked if I was supposed to check in or something. They told me my order was “almost done” and said it would be at the end of the counter when ready. I went and stood over there for another 15 minutes. My wife called asking what was taking so long, I decided to get back in line and ask for a refund instead of my order. Got to the counter and asked for a refund, By the time I got to the front of the line my one coffee was finally ready, so they gave me my order along with a coupon for a free (SMALL) drink, and an apology. In hindsight I wish I would’ve stood my ground and got a refund. It honestly took more than an hour from when I ordered my one coffee and two bakery items for it to be ready. My wife did say that her coffee was really good, I just don’t think I’m willing to wait that long for coffee again.

I love their coffees and their homemade flavors BUT I brought in my own reusable cup (helping the earth and plastic waste) but they still used a plastic cup to make the drink and poured that into the cup then chucked it into the trash in front of me. I think it would be above and beyond if you have a reusable cup to measure out your cold brews so you can limit that waste. Otherwise what’s the point.

Can't say enough good things about the coffee there. The coffee is pricey but it's worth it. Husband and I both got their summer coffee flight and it was really good. They're cold brews are super strong so if you don't like super better coffee I would either avoid the cold brew or have them add sugar to it. The service is always phenomenal. Seating is always a difficulty for me. Whenever we come with our family sometimes it's hard to find a place for us all to sit together. Most of the time all the large seating areas are taken up by one or two people which is frustrating when your family of five. Today that left us stuck sitting in the high top chairs and I'm a heavier set person and those chairs are really narrow so I kept almost falling out of them. Those chairs are also really slippery which made it harder to sit in them.
