The falafel salad was ok. Grape leaves served with a small cup of hummus which was nice. However, the grilled chicken was inedible - so tough, almost like it had been cooked a while ago and then warmed back up in the microwave to a tough cardboard consistency. Had the cold pumpkin spice cider, which was more like simple apple juice with ice. Service was fast and good, nice to be able to sit outside. Just wish the food had been better, and that they might reduce their use of single...
We love Zingo’s! The food is always so fresh and delicious! The salads and soups are amazing and creative, and some change with the seasons. (Our favorite salads are their Junk Salad or Almond Rice with Chicken salad, and soups Lentil Soup or Lemon Rice.) The “Zingo style” (grilled) gyros are also great…we get those as a “Pick a Pair” option with hummus and chips. They have outdoor seating in the warm weather months, making it nice to overlook the charming downtown...
I enjoyed myself at this restaurant. It felt like they really wanted to accommodate vegans. We had the vegan hero with sauce, onions, and lettuce, plus the stuffed grape leaves, hummus, and pita chips. Also, they had oat milk for coffee. The staff was very friendly.
