I ordered the tots and I got 11 tots and it was $10 and the food was just ok. Pretty disappointed to be honest

Called before ordering to be sure they were not out of anything so that I could avoid ordering the items they were out of. Placed order on DoorDash, 10 mins later they call to let us know they are out of half of the items ordered! Terrible!

My husband and I decided to try Bob's Backyard Barbecue, but we were disappointed. The food was just mediocre; the brisket didn’t seem authentic and tasted more like smoked beef. While it was cooked well, the standout features were the sauces—the CiCi's sauce and the sweet and spicy varieties were quite good. Unfortunately, the mac and cheese lacked flavor, tasting like just noodles with American cheese. The best item we had was the loaded tots. I also ordered the Reuben sandwich, which was supposed to come with coleslaw and onions, but it arrived with nothing but meat. I only realized this after getting home, so I let it go. Overall, I don’t think we’ll return or recommend it to friends and family. On a positive note, the location is nice, featuring picnic tables for outdoor dining and direct access to the Combustion Brewery.

If you don’t feel like reading, service was slow and slacking, and food didn’t even seem edible :)
Me and my bestie went today for a quick dinner before going out. It was a huge mistake. I don’t want to make this whole review a rant on them but our service and food was not the best.
The girl was quick to take our seats and our order. But when it came time to eat, I wish I didn’t eat anything. We both ordered the pulled pork and Mac n cheese, and then they had sauce on the side. Our food was very quick to come out too which to me is suspicious. When the plate arrived the pulled pork looked like they just plopped it out of a frozen meal from the store, and the Mac n cheese was the same and had random cheese chunks that looked inedible.
The pulled pork had little to no flavor and tasted like it was from a wet crockpot/slowcooker, even with the sauce. The Mac n cheese was TERRIBLE, I felt sick trying to eat it. It almost tasted like it was boiled with beer?? And it tasted cooked and uncooked at times.
To top this all off, we got our check (took off the Mac n cheese) and were waiting for the waitress to come back and take the card to process and never came back so I had to pay through the QR code
Make a smart decision and don’t order here

For my Lunch I ordered the half pound of brisket, baked beans and coleslaw. The brisket is not smoked it was very dry and bland, each BBQ sauce on the table tasted odd.the beans were oddly sweet and the slaw was not very good. The worst part was the starters.. we had the deviled eggs. This is where I walked out of the restaurant to spit and toss the horrible egg in the street. Which I quickly returned and warned my family not to eat. Unfortunately I will not be returning to this local spot. I 100% believe there is nothing fresh in this restaurant. I believe the beans and the brisket came out of a can. Dine at your own risk!

If I could give it negative starts I would! Walk in and nobody was there to great us or welcome us in. Then when I finally asked someone if they were open he was like oh I’ll get someone for you. She told us to sit wherever we like. First I had been craving deviled eggs so when I saw them offered on the menu with bacon I got excited! Unfortunately that excitement was short lived. They come out and they have hormel bacon crumbles thrown on top. My husband goes to pop one in his mouth and immediately runs out the restaurant to spit them out. He said something is wrong with those and they don’t taste right! Moving I. From there the meal didn’t get any better. I am not entirely sure that the brisket was actually brisket more like potted meat. All food was flavorless. The best thing about this meal was my Pepsi, Very disappointing!!! I wish that we could get a good delicious tasting restaurant in the place that cares about the food that comes out of their kitchen!!

We have ordered food here on 3 separate occasions. It all has been very good. I've had the cuban, the smoked chicken sandwich, and Bob's take on a Reuben. The Reuben is my favorite out of the three. My wife had the Pimento cheese sandwich last night and wants to go back again today for another ?. I love the baked beans as well!

Excellent brisket! I would suggest adding collard greens to the menu. Will definitely be back!

I wouldn't recommend this place if you're in a hurry or don't want to spend 15 minutes waiting for an employee to acknowledge you are there for food.
