Deshawn (or however its spelled) was by far the RUDEST “manager” I have ever came in contact with. Would not let me speak and overspoke. In the location and over the phone was by far the rudest experience from management ever. When I called the first time asking for corporate number and asked why he thought he could talk to me aggressively, . He “hung up” on me stating “there is nothing more he wants to talk about and hung up a second time. We purchased $50 in JUST one of their items (this was our 10 time at this very same location by my home) and because it was on one container he stated its not allowed. While standing in the store, he came in the door, walked past and stated “HEY YOU CANT DO THAT” aggressively and I had explained that it was all paid for and we were about finished and he continued! Corporate information was asked for and was told “you can look it up on he internet” before he hung up the first time. I will drove completely to the other side of town to T have to deal with racist, degrading and disrespectful management! Small community with powerful words, Pick-town will hear about it for sure!

Waited 30 minutes in store for online orders to get completed while I got ignored the cook couldn’t stop drinking his Taco Bell drink I spelled my last name, clear as day still couldn’t write the ticket correctly after waiting 30 minutes still didn’t get My order correctly got something completely different than what I asked for. Everyone there had a bad attitude the person who took my order, looked dirty, and their appearance was disheveled This was August 28 at approximately 6:45 PM. The whole staff needs fired. I don’t like spending almost $50 to get my order incorrect

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I am writing to express a serious concern regarding an experience I had while dining on a chicken and steak bowl I purchased from your establishment.

As I was eating, I discovered a sharp, wooden-like object embedded in my food (please see attached photo). The object has pointed ends and resembles a splintered stick or something potentially hazardous. This was not only disturbing but also posed a serious risk of injury had I bitten into it or swallowed it unknowingly.

I am very disappointed by this experience and am requesting a full refund for my order. Additionally, I would appreciate it if this incident could be investigated to ensure the safety of your future customers.

Please let me know what steps you plan to take regarding this issue. I can provide any additional information needed, including the date/time of purchase.

Went on my break around 12:30 today and there was about two other people In front of me, line moved fast and staff was very friendly, I talked to the red haired lady about her tattoos and she was very nice. Food turned out great, it was hot and filled to the top!!! The atmosphere is great I love the paintings on the walls! Would recommend this location 10/10!

This place used to be really good but it seems everything has changed. The fried rice was so mushy that I couldn’t even eat it and they use cheap rice. The new ginger and yum yum sauce tastes awful. The veggies and meat tasted like they were cooked in dirty grease. It’s obvious the owners have gotten greedy and jacked the prices up while substituting the lowest quality ingredients possible.

I went to go get food for my wife and I after work just now around 2:30 and the dirty looks I got from the 2 girls “working” up front just for going in were not okay. The one who got up and helped me with my order treated me like I was the biggest burden ever and loved to give me attitude the whole time. I got two bowls and my total time in the store didn’t even take up 5 minutes of her day. We’ve always loved genjigo but if you want to get it I would recommend a different location if this is the kind of people they think it’s okay to work here.

Don’t go here today. The girl that took our order screwed it up and argued with what we said we wanted and what she actually had made. The manager had to step in twice to assist and the order taker had a terrible attitude/chip on her shoulder!!

If you’re in the Pickerington area looking for Hibachi, do yourself a favor and go to Hibachi Express. It’s literally right next door to Genji Go. Decided to try it out again after not ordering from here for a few years and was instantly reminded why. This is what my order looked like. What an absolute joke.

Cannot believe the experience I just had at this location. While waiting for my order I overheard the staff making very negative comments about the Pickerington Police Officer who was picking his order up just before me. Completely inappropriate comments about distrust and other issues. They apologized to me when I let them know I didn't approve of it. They should be apologizing to him. Wonder who they will call if they ever need help? Casey B should be ashamed of themselves.

Came in today and Autumn took care of us. She was incredibly kind and efficient! My daughter dropped our bag and Autumn was so kind as to rebowl and rebag our food since the yum yum had exploded everywhere. We will definitely be back!!

Genjigo as a rule used to be a solid place to get dinner. $10 for a chicken rice bowl is so good I would rather go to Genjigo then the Hibachi place literally right next to it. Not anymore.

The Pickerington Genjigo is easily the worst I’ve ever been to. Consistently takes 15+ minutes to get your bowl after you order it (despite 5 workers and 3 total customers in the store?) and all the food is literally prepared on the line. Imagine Piada or Chipotle taking that long. Insane.

After getting my food I take a look in the bag and it’s barely even full? Raised prices and smaller portions. I read through the other recent Google reviews and that seems to be a common issue. Genjigo responds saying “first price increase since 2022 and the portions are the same 😇” it’s patronizing and pathetic. You serve rice, chicken, and vegetables. It’s not that hard to have a good portion of any of that, and none of it is expensive. Clearly this Genjigo needs a retraining of its staff on portion sizes, and perhaps an entire purge of their management. Clearly failing at a systemic level.

I literally repeated my order twice and it says my order on the ticket. For some reason, I still got a single serving. Why am I paying extra and being ripped off ? Seems like there’s always an issue at this location. After taking a few bites I decided to trash this food. It taste like a mix of taco seasoning and something else . It’s a weird taste. I hope nothing has been cross contaminated.
