Jay's Crab Boil & Oyster Bar

Every time I come back here its different and tastes even better! I got a seafood boil and it was amazing, TJ was a very sweet waiter! He even poured my boil out of the bag and tied my bib on 🤣 asl for TJ, he's a sweet heart!

The last couple of times I ordered carryout they forgot the spices. This time the did not. Thank you Terri or Sherry, sorry if I didn't hear your name correctly, for making sure it was done as ordered. I was in there today June 4th 2025

Always a good crab boil, especially the shrimp and mussels with Jay's special blend.

The boil wasn't bad. I had crawfish and shrimp. The shrimp was way over cooked making them very tough. My son had snow crab legs which he said was really good. The waitress was super nice, they weren't busy at all when we were there. It was around 2p. I'd maybe go back one more time to try again but I've certainly had better boils and worse.

Our service was fantastic and we enjoyed our time there. My husband got the seafood boil and said it was delicious.

Best seafood place in ohio. We had server Sandy wait on us and it was amazing. My crab boil was phenomenal. I'd recommend the spicy option on the boil with Jay's seasoning.

This place is amazing! I've been to a lot of seafood restaurants and this one is better than them all! The variety of seafood is great, the seasoning is just right, the restaurant is clean, and the seafood theme is very interesting and exciting. The waiter was great. I think this will be a new craving! Highly recommended 👍

First impression walking in was off. Staff standing at the door and greeted quickly but then I was put off that there were uncleaned tables and floor space when being taken to be seated. Our server was pleasant, she appeared to be hustling the most. Tried lobster bisque soup and that was the first warning sign of poor seasoning and texture. Daugher ordered King Crab and theJay's sauce was so bad that it made the boil horrible including the corn cobs. I ordered sweet potato fries and walleye and it was tasteless. The potatoes tastes like they were soaked in vegetable oil. The fish was fried but there was no taste, no seasoning on the batter at all. So after over $100 spent, we left to find food we could actually eat. The server didn't offer anything to save the experience but really not sure there was a save to be had.

Bathroom hot mess. Entrance doors glass hot mess. Food dry over cooked. Won't be back. If door windows and female bathroom terrible I'm sure kitchen is also a hot mess.
