Rick’s Freshmade is a nice local sandwich shop. Generous portions definitely shareable. Ingredients are fresh and great tasting. This is my preferred sandwich shop in Pickerington.
Really liked it the first time I tried it. I get the veggie sub. I went again today and it was disappointing. Wilted looking lettuce and they forgot to put italian dressing on it so it was basically just a dry salad on a bun. Some veggies were missing though even though they asked me if there were some I didn't want and I said no. I didn't get a pickle with my sandwich this time either. Idk if I'll be back or not. The experience seems inconsistent.
Stopped for first time because I was told they had great sandwiches. I think the owner was just leaving and he said today was the burger special or something like that. So I got the burger. Way too much salt. I couldn't eat it. I even went back and told them. Seasoning is good but that was just too much. Will give them another chance though. Just to see. And the staff, very unfriendly. No one spoke to each other, at least while I was there.
