My experience started in the drive thru where when I pulled up to the kiosk to place my order, I waited for 5 minutes with nobody talking to me. After waiting I decided to just go in and order thinking this might be faster, I was wrong! I placed my order inside and waited 15 minutes for my food. My number was finally called and half of my order was not there. Shocker! There were several customers waiting as long as I was and many of them were missing part of their orders as well. I asked, and was given, a refund for my order.

Unfortunately, this McDonald’s has not had great customer service in the evenings in a long time. It used to only be Sunday nights, but the last few times I have gone in the evening, it has been a dumpster fire. The morning crew is still great, but the evening crew has soured my taste for this particular McDonalds and I will not spend another dime at this location.

After getting my refund, I went to the McDonald’s across town and the service was flawless and fast even though they were busy.

I get skipped in line every freaking time I come here. After I waited 10 minutes Finally order they gave me a sticker to go. Wait, another 10 minutes.. The service sucks here whoever’s working today.

it is currently june 25th, 2025. 10:27 pm. covington ave mcdonald’s in piqua. my wife and i placed an online order.. two pies and two milks. we pull into the drive thru, wait for 5 minutes, no one comes to answer for our order. we drive up to the first window, no one is there. second window no one is there. we drive back around the building back into the drive thru, 5 more minutes goes by. i call them, they answer immediately, i say we’ve been waiting and driving around the building for 10 mins now… a guy replies with “we are currently closed”
no signs saying they are closed, the lights are on, ordering boards are on…looks like a customer is inside the building as we drove around previously … the safari website says they are open until 11. the mcdonald’s app says they are open until 11. and also doordash says they are open until 11.
i asked the person on the phone how we were able to place an online order.. he just replied “i’m sorry but we’re closed” again… “you’ll receive your refund in 12-14 hours”
ugh. 20 weeks pregnant and i really wanted that pie.
maybe consider changing your close time across all platforms!!??

Employee was very disrespectful to my wife saying can you not read a sign? She said the lobby was closed but open only to DoorDash orders but allowed two other people before us to go in and order food.

I ordered food off the app. Somehow things got confused and they couldn’t find my order. The guy at the window changed my order from drive-through to counter and it made it go through. He told me to pull up to the next window and they’ll bring it to me. The girl at the next window was amazing!!!! Her name is Madysen. This girl definitely knows how to give Customer Service. She was so amazing. Made sure we had everything that we were supposed to and was super friendly the whole entire time. She definitely works for her money and definitely deserves a raise. You was very much appreciated Madysen. (I told her she was so amazing and I wanted to give her a Google review and asked for her name) please give this girl a high five and at least a gift card. Her energy was top notch!!!!

Worst McDonald’s I. This town out of the 2 we have! Everyone you go thru the drive thru they pull you forward no matter what you are getting! I went thru and the lady said please pull forward for a large fry and a drink and there was no one behind me in line so I asked why and she said that’s the way we work, I barley pulled forward and got stopped as the kid was bringing the stuff out, so why pull forward
