We were traveling and stopped at the Waffle in Piqua, Ohio. My hubby ordered the all star with scrambled eggs and a waffle. The eggs looked like the scrapings from cleaning the griddle. His waffle took forever as he ordered it dark, but when it arrived it looked like a crepe. Normally the waffle covers the plate and is quite fluffy…., well this one was barely cooked not dark like he requested and was unrecognizable as a normal waffle. It was minimum 1”smaller in circumference and so thin it looked like a crepe. It was gummy. The server just shrugged and said that’s how they have been all day. Then why serve that crap?! We frequent the waffle a couple times a month in Georgia and food is always consistently good. I’m not sure who owns this one but they need to retrain staff on only serving quality food, not trash.

Last night we went and it took 20 minutes to have our drink order taken, 30 minutes to get the two coffees, and about another 45 minutes just to get PART of our food (2 waffles, 1 egg, and 1 hashbrown.), which was hardly warm when we got it. I never got my hashbrowns even after asking 3 separate times.
In those nearly 2 hours, a table came in 15/20 minutes after us and was served immediately, got their food, and left. I am unbelievably disappointed in the service last night and I don't expect to return again!

Sad to see it even worse to do it. I dont usually leave reviews sometimes people have an off day fine but this was shameful. The waitstaff is more interested in the phone in hand than customers and the cook staff had the audacity to say that if kids get off the bus that they should lock the doors. Fine I get it a school bus full of kids can be a handful but your job is service if you don't want to then please find something else.
