Unable to score the food, as we were seated outside per our preference 4 adults and 2 children(4 and 2 yr olds). We sat for 45 minutes with no one even coming around. No drinks, no food, no I'll be with you in a minute. Absolutely no contact after being seated. Other tables and the bar were tended to several times as we waited. The children were very patient, never fussing, but very hungry and thirsty. We had even decided that we would order appetizers and our meals at same time to circumvent a long wait time between the two. All were looking very forward to trying this new for us place. Very Unfortunate.

Our biggest issue with The Grainery is that the service is severely lacking; we had to ask for drink refills, appetizers came out after we were done eating our entrees, the cocktails were mainly ice, and there were several mistakes made with our order. It wasn't even busy!

The ice cream bar is a great touch though and the food is good (with the exception of the bread sticks and green beans). The pizza was really the highlight. We brought our out-of-town guests here to show off a bit of Plain City and we left feeling extremely disappointed.

This was our first time at The Grainery and initially we were very pleased! We had sandwiches and fries and beverages. The service was great, the food was good, and the atmosphere was great. We ordered a stromboli to go because we loveStromboli and we were excited to see it on the menu. I will take partial blame for this. I did not check the Stromboli before we left the restaurant. Unfortunately, we live about 35 to 40 minutes away from the restaurant. When we got home I opened up the box and this is what I found. It's burnt and it kind of looks like somebody dropped it. We were so excited to have it later today and now not so much.

Fabulous food and all. The candied bacon was great. My husband had the flat Stromboli and the dough was soft and delicious.

I came to watch a band and enjoy some beer and snacks, and the music was outstanding! Meeting the General Manager, Francisco, was a highlight—he made us feel incredibly welcomed and genuinely appreciated our presence. Francisco is truly first class—a remarkable ambassador for the Grainery—ensuring we felt comfortable throughout our visit.

The atmosphere was warm and inviting, like sharing moments with family and friends while singing along with the band. Thank you, Francisco, for taking the time to chat with us and our dog, Nash. You created a sense of connection with my family, welcoming us back like old friends.

You are an exceptional General Manager, and I cherish the friendship we've built. Keep inspiring your team; your leadership is truly admirable!!!

Nice place. I love smoked meats. Everything about this place is amazing. Now when comes to smoked meats, they need to have a new smoke master come in. I got the sampler and couldn’t tell the difference from brisket and pork. My ribs and wings were over cooked. They have the flavor just need to pull the meat sooner.

How I just found out about this gem in downtown Plain City is beyond me, but better late than never! My family loves this place so much that we've been back twice since finding it two weeks ago. Totally worth the 20 min drive from Powell!! Food is fantastic (especially the wings, pizza and cheese curds!), the space is very large with a concert venue out back, and the menu is HIGE with something for everyone. I think this is my family's new go-to place to eat!

Wings cooked too long and were mushy without any crisp. About a 3 oz piece of chicken for the chicken sandwich at $13.99. Charged $.99 for mayo which was removed from the bill when we mentioned it. Iced tea tasted off and could not drink anymore after two sips which was also removed from the bill but again had to say something to the server Slow service. Nice atmosphere though. Maybe they had a bad day.

We had a great experience at The Grainery! There were four of us, and everything from service to food exceeded expectations. Our waitress was excellent—she took our drink orders right away, checked in regularly, and kept the refills coming.

We started with the fried pickle chips and the house-made chips with queso. The fried pickles were piping hot and really good—the pickle breading actually stayed on, which is rare, and the chips and queso were seriously delicious.

For entrées, we had a variety of dishes and everyone left happy. The chicken tenders with potato wedges were crispy and a great size, and the wedges were fluffy inside and crispy outside. The club sub was loaded with turkey and toppings, and the smoked wings were tender, came clean off the bone, and had great seasoning. The fries were just as good as the wedges. The pork tacos were overflowing (in the best way)—plenty of pork and toppings in every bite.

Honestly, I was hesitant going in based on some of the reviews I’d read—complaints about cold food, small portions, and slow service. We experienced none of that. Everything was hot, generously portioned, and we had great service from start to finish. Really glad we gave it a try, and we’ll definitely be back!

I’m torn on this place. It can’t decide if it wants to be a restaurant or live music spot and it doesn’t do either one well. More and more of their music is ticketed events as if they want to be a music venue. It’s small and parking is bad. The food is ok, nothing to come back for. I believe it’s expensive, I paid around $8 for a lost coast draft. It needs to choose food or music because right now it’s not good at either. They’re trying to be Bennys or Leon’s garage and it’s not near the same level of either. The patio is nice on a nice night but if there’s a band out there forget trying to sit out there.
