Overall, I would recommend The Grainery to anyone... with a few caveats. First, the caveats; while the house smoked BBQ is really good, it was too spicy for my wife. The server suggested asking for wings to be flash fried to help knock some of the rub off, but it was too late by that time; It was a Game Day and the main dining area was really loud! We sat in the back dining area and found it okay. There is also a really nice outdoor area in the rear we discovered later. Now for the good; Everything else! All of the dishes were delicious and in good portions. Service was excellent. The place was clean and inviting. A very good selection of beverages. Prices were reasonable. Plain City has always meant Der Dutchman for us in the past, but The Grainery will be serious competition for our dining dollars from now on!

Very poor service and the woman in back was yelling at the other workers in front of us. She was so worried at setting up for the outdoor event and our work event upstairs was completely neglected. We will not be back. Very sad because this was a beautiful place but poorly managed.

Waited 30 minutes for a plain burger.. I ordered the BBQ bacon burger. Only 1 piece of bacon, the most basic burger I've ever had. $14 is robbery. Not impressed. I should of got a manager and walked out.
Lacy (Lacey) was very sweet and was very attentive. She asked questions to make sure we received the best service possible and insured we received what we asked for. She went above and beyond to make sure our time spent here was good

So IMO they should label things that are spicy....the smoked wings was over seasoned and spicy! And the best part is the brisket baked beans mmmmmmm! And they are spicy as well!! Now I don't mind spicy but a warning is needed and labeled!!
