The bakery employees “said” they left me messages about not being able to put a cheetah print pattern on my cake, however I received no calls or voicemails relaying that. So when I went to pick up my cake I was very disappointed and on top of that the cake was not even level, it was lopsided. Not happy in the slightest.

This is a shout out to the 4 high school boys working the closing shift to tonight. I ran in for milk. As I was gathering my small amount of things out of my buggy, I lost my grip on one milk jug, and it broke open. 🤦🏻♀️They took my broken jug, told me to get another and got all of the milk cleaned up. they didn’t roll their eyes, get irritated or anything. This place has always been wonderful to shop in but tonight was above and beyond. Thank you GE and give those boys a raise.

I order a cake for a very special person who has stolen my heart. It was a half sheet cake decorated in red balloons. It was fabulous. Thank you for making it so special. It put a big smile on his face. Plus I got a kiss and many hugs. Great place to shop.

I love this giant eagle. only thing they should put on that there is almost a week waiting period foe curbside. which isn't a problem for my grannie. but to let the others know that it a delay

Some one suggested that during this virus, maybe you could let the elderly in an hour before you normally open. Not only would the stocks be up, but the most sanitized, cleanest part of the day for the store. Good idea.

Giant Eagle Bakery is included within Giant Eagle Grocery in the majority of stores. They produce baked bread, sweet, and other on order cakes, cookies, and sweets for larger families and groups.I find their baked breads to be excellent. They taste good, they are fresh, and consistency is very good. They have a fairly short self life because of no preservatives. Please be prepared to freeze.In my opinion, thier sweets bakery suffer. First, much of the sweets are not manufactured. The product made on site doesn't compare with local and regional (such as Oakmont) bakeries.
