The food was cold. The service was horrible. They were extremely understaffed. I would definitely not go here.. I’m also pretty sure some of the ingredients they use were expired . STAY AWAY from this place

Fantastic food! Everything is full of flavor! Even the beans and rice are seasoned perfectly, not the typical ordinary rice and beans you get from other Mexican restaurants. The street corn is DELISH! So good and plenty to share! If you’re a sweet tea drinker, you’ll appreciate the fresh brewed tea!

Great little Mexican restaurant. The entrance is up a wheelchair ramp and looks like the front of a house. Serving sizes are very big. My wife and I split nachos and we still did not eat it all. The nachos were very good. The cheesy bean dip was also very good. They also brought us some very light and fluffy flour chips that when dipped in cinnamon and sugar they were awesome. Shawnee students get 10% off also. My daughter said this might become one of her favorites.

They serve very generous portions and the prices are comparable to other restaurants in Portsmouth. The servers are always friendly and helpful. They are very accommodating to young children and also have a kids menu.

I ordered the shrimp street tacos, the tacos were okay but the rice & beans I ordered with it tasted sour it was so bad I couldn’t even eat it. I have never had refried beans taste sour like that before so I’m not sure if they were spoiled or what. But the service was okay.
