Mexican side was bland. I will try the Italian maybe next time.

Terrible service. They lie about their delivery time and refuse orders. I called at 7:20 (delivery orders are advertised to be taken until 7:30). These people are rude and incompetent. Do not order from here. The food is just okay and a last resort for people in my neck of the woods anyway. Just drive to Portsmouth and get better food at much better prices.

Restaurant has been open since 1968, must be under new owners. There is no other explanation as to why the food is so bad. First let me say the waitress was good and was trying to help but somehow feel she knew the food was horrible. The salad was just lettuce with a scoop of finely diced tomatoes. The Mexican dish that I ordered came with several things. The beef taco was dry and flavorless, the tostada covered in cheese whiz and Rotel tomatoes waved over top of it, tasted like the plastic wrap on an imitation cheese slice. Beans and rice were hard and tasted horrid. Best thing about the meal was the tamale only because I like the Hormel beef tamales in a can.The order of cheese sticks were good. My wife ordered the frozen bagged meatballs with marinara sauce with noodles and the plate contained half of the pot of water the noodles were boiled in. Everything tasted like it was cooked in an industrial microwave. Whoever recommended this restaurant to me owes me $50. When I figure out who it was I owe them an uppercut to the perineum.

I can't say anything about the food cause we didn't order any. We were sketched out from the start. The door didn't open and is completely blacked out. There's no sign so you can't tell where it is. Upon entering, the place smells like curry. It's supposed to be Mexican and Italian. It's mostly Italian. I have to wonder what Indian people know about either Mexican or Italian food. Red flags. Red flags everywhere.

The menu was not descriptive, and the food was plain. The chicken burrito was smothered in red sauce, which was not listed in the menu. The mild salsa is just odd. Not an experience I will repeat. Waitress was the best thing about the place, very kind lady.

The waitress was the best waitress I've ever had! The food was also super good. They were busy but still got us ever very fast and again, the waitress was wonderful! She made us handwritten notes on our receipt and gave us a festive holiday card!! Overall a wonderful experience and I HIGHLY recommend going there.

It is mostly Mexican for lunch and mostly Italian for dinner. Sadly, was in the mood for Italian for lunch. But a nice place with friendly people and very inexpensive.

I would be back again to try more menu items. The spaghetti looked amazing and chessy! I had the chicken fajitas and it was delicious. Would recommend!

The food was excellent and our waitress was awesome. Only problem we had was that one of the people in our party did not get her food the same time as everyone else. We had to wait an additional 10-15 mins for her food. There were only 5 of us.

I adore this place. You really do get the best of both worlds at Mex-Itali! I always carry out from there and the service is quick and accurate. The DK burrito is my favorite item, followed by the Acapulco dinner, and the Sonora meal. The baked spaghetti is the best in town and comes with salad, and your choice of a delicious garlic bread or rolls.

Had a family get together here & had the best waitress! The food was good and there are plenty of choices. Some of the Italian dishes could benefit from more seasoning to improve rating. Also know that this is a dry county so no margaritas like your usual Mexican restaurants.
