Nice atmosphere. Food was bland. Had to add a lot of salt to something that should have been tasty. The staff was very loud. They were making jokes and talking about their personal lives, while standing around the podium. It made it difficult to have a conversation with my date. Not sure I'd pick them again unless it was a last option.

Went to this restaurant with my wife for her class reunion. The area we used was very clean, the food was really good and the service was good. Although they will charge you a "large party" service bill even though everyone had their separate bills which I didn't though made sense. So just a heads up that your bill might be higher than expected because of this.

This is the very best of the best in purgatory of bad restaurants. Try it. If we took the chief to Santa Fe NM where we live, they would worship him. Too often small town folks get used to bad food and that becomes the norm. Escape and eat at Oscars.

This place is located inside of the Holiday INN. It has two seating areas, lounge=bar and dining room= traditional restaurant seating.Atmosphere:looks beautiful....at first glance. If you look even a little too hard you will see the worn down dated decor and areas of plain old dilapitation( stains on ceiling, wall paper peeling, cracks in drywall ect. They add white table clothes and candles but the effect is short lived.Service: Our service (while slow) was very good. The young gentleman who served us was efficient, kind and well mannered. He was tipped accordingly because it was obvious the delay was not his doing by the way other customers were served the items that came from kitchen after long wait times and not items the server were responsible for.Food: In short, not true fine dining cuisine. It could be better described as "fine dining". Emphasis on the quotations. It is basic food parading as upscale food with is presentation. Flavor was ok. The appetizer we got was the southwest spring rolls. They were tasty, looked handmade and presented nicely. The salads were run of the mill iceberg lettuce salads. The entrees(everyone's MAIN concern lol) were subpar in flavor but very well cooked. The lovely plating and decent cooking was the foods saving grace due to the absolute lack of seasoning.Deserts: Stay away from these. They are low quality and not worth your money. Enough said.Drinks: this is an area of no complaint. Well priced-ish. But they are well made and taste good. Just get them at the start of your meal because they are not shy with the pour.Pricing: It won't break the bank but it's not worth the cost of what you get in quality but it is worth the cost in portions. The sizing were sufficient.OVERVIEW: don't go with high hopes true fine upscale dining as this diner did. You will leave confuses and dissapointed. Treat it as a trip to an SLIGHTLY more elevated AppleBee's(but with worse food).

We were here for a wedding rehearsal dinner. I thought the food was great, especially for so many dishes at once. The salmon was cooked perfectly. I'm sure a regular dinner in the restaurant would be very good. If you're just coming through town, aren't feeling adventurous, and want to stay in the hotel you'll get a good meal here!

Atmosphere was great. The food and service were very good and we never had to leave the hotel. Prices were reasonable and the menu had a good variety.

Appetizers:stuffed mushrooms; menu said large size stuffed mushrooms, was about the size of a 50 cent piece, 4 of them for $15.00, Overpriced!loaded tater tots, received 6 small tater tots with cheese, bacon and scallions. $10.00. Again, overpriced for what we received.Dinner: ordered prime rib and very disappointed. It was thin and somewhat dry!Service was good!

It was a nice effort for a valentines experience. The room was a little small for the electric band and drums. Our waitress was very pleasant and attentive to serve. the food came out pretty quickly but the courses flowed too quickly to complete. Had to hold the one and eat when the next came out fast. The main course was cool when we were able to finish the soup course. Once the salad was first served the rest piled on pretty fast. We appreciated the effort for a special event. We have never dined there on a regular basis so no day to day comparison. Circumstances may be driving this review.

The server was nice, but he brought our soup and salad, then the entree all within minutes of each other. There was not enough room to put the plates. He then forgot to get our payment. We had to flag him down

My husband & I stayed at the Holiday Inn for 3 weeks. We had Oscars for breakfast everyday and it was divine EVERY TIME. So much flavor, great portions. However, the best part is the waitress Lisa! She is ON it every morning, remembers names, always has a smile on her face, and is a literal beam of sunshine. That woman deserves a raise! Truly the best of the best. As for dinner & the bar, we ordered room service twice and everything was perfect. We got a burger and we fully expected it to be soggy. It was as though we had it freshly served in the restaurant. We did wait quite a while (they said it would be 20 minutes and we waited 50), but they quickly called and explained they'd had a rush. We called around 6:30pm so it was understandable. Truly the best food and service. We were never disappointed. Drinks are fantastic and averagely priced. You can't miss with Oscar's!
