Good food, friendly staff
Another great night at El Vaquero! Everyone is so friendly and helpful. We love Luis, and enjoy chatting with him. Tonight’s drinks and food were great — alcohol-free daiquiris for the boys, and a margarita for me. We have never been disappointed with a night out here. It’s such a fun time for us as a family. My husband highly recommends Fajitas Carnitas!
El Vaquero Shawnee Hills was such a great site for our event. Wonderful servers and the food was great! They accommodated our huge party easily. Many thanks to all the staff!
Everything I ordered had shredded chicken. Everything tasted same. Didn’t like the concept of shredded chicken on nachos
Enjoyable afternoon
If I could give more than 5 stars, especially for service, I would. Luis is our favorite!! He is so kind to our boys, and they absolutely love him. We have our go to orders but also love to try new things. Luis is fun, takes care in making things extra special, and an all around great person. We go at least once a week and often twice. Can’t recommend enough!
I mean... it's ok if you're not overly concerned about your food being good. It's really gone downhill, a lot better options out there now.

Consistently great food and service.
Our go to place for taco Tuesday. We dropped in late on Tuesday afternoon and I had a tacos Roberto… amazing!!! Sweet and spicy with a wonderful lime flavor. Definitely getting them again. The service is top notch and they made a special chorizo dish for my son that was over the moon and authentic Mexican. You can’t get individual attention like that just anywhere. Be sure to come here!

The shrimp diablo was made with ketchup, just no. Also, got home and no tacos.
