Food was good but not at all worth the price. The best thing on the menu was the queso. I had the molcajete ranchero, it was good but not I've had better. The sauce was runny and not very flavorful. The meat to veg ratio was perfect.

Not sure why they have so many nice reviews. I told the person on phone...please give me extra jalapeños and extra tortillas. Do YOU see any jalapeños?? And of couse...those are things FOR WHICH I WAS CHARGED. More on this later. I am so annoyed. It is annoying to be charge extra for something and not get it. I like my fajitas to be extra spicy. It takes a lot....to get me annoyed enough to give a negative review.

Guys, just avoid. We ordered rice and beans. 35 minute wait after it was supposed to be ready and nobody seemed to be able to get rice and beans prepared for us. Service is lowest level.
Good Mexican food. Service was crazy fast! Good prices as well. Had the enchilada plate and the chicken was delicious. Great chips and salsa too!

We're from Texas and this is the best Tex Mex you can get in Columbus. Sorry... the other Powell Mexican restaurants aren't even close. The service is slow but they are friendly and always happy to accommodate.

Worst El Vaquero in the whole CBus area! Gave them 3 chances in the last 12 months, could write a half dozen bad stories of those 3 visits... drive out of your way to avoid this one, they have a cancerous culture issue in this restaraunt. The others around town are awesome though!

It was a little empty at first but no problem , the service was great the workers were all very nice and friendly , the food was good the prices were okay , atmosphere was nice, overall the place is great the waiters are super nice and patient, would definitely come again.
