I used to adore the bakery here. Fresh baked donuts, delicious cake and good service. But ALL of those things have gone bad. I tried to get a cake this evening. Had to wait quite a while to get noticed. Even to get a cake with a quick name put on it required waiting 24 hours. The ONLY cakes available right now are christmas. Why? Is no one else celebrating a birthday?? I also got two donuts. My son and I both agreed they tasted days old. Hard and going stale. I didnt finish mine it was so bland.

The afternoon shift has some of the rudest cashiers I've ever dealt with. Only a few know how to properly handle a doordash order. And don't get me started on the guy working the meat department. I've never had someone so rude. I ask for simple things and get attitude. I feel I'm better off waiting for the high school kids to come in to work before I go shopping here.

First time ordering cupcakes at the powell location for my kid's birthday. Cupcakes tasted horrible, I found green mold on one of the yellow cupcakes and the butter cream icing tasted like rotten eggs. Disappointed!

Giant Eagle made a delicious unicorn cake for my birthday. I only gave them a day's notice they had it ready the next day.

Giant Eagle bakery is always my go to for a special cake, but today's came was above and beyond! I asked for tools to be on the cake.the decorator did an amat job! She made a tool belt several tools and even one edge of the cake was a tape measure. It's perfect. Better than I could have imagined.

Super kudos to Giant Eagle and their staff. Everything was pretty well stocked (chips and TP were the only things I could not get), someone wiped the carts as you came in, there was a speaker announcement to have “sanitize time” and as soon as that came on you saw workers wiping all the handles to the freezers around the store. It’s things like this that go unnoticed sometimes. I made sure to tell a manager how impressed I was with everything going on. Stay healthy, humble, and thank everyone that continues to put their lives out there whether they are a dr, nurse, store clerk, etc. Many people in different roles play a vital part to our every day lives.

There are a couple of managers here that are rude. One is this balding, brown guy. Other is this old, short, short-haired woman. Both look like they have rods stuck up their butt holes.
