Oh lord, they claim to be the best Chinese in Powell. NOT TRUE.If you want good Chinese go to LIN’s Wok. It’s right down the street, Google them. But if you think golden china is good then you just don’t know. You are probably one those folks that thinks El Vaquero is authentic Mexican food and everyone that speaks Spanish is Mexican. Come on Powell it’s time to step your game up.

Service is fast and if doing pickup food is hot and ready and on time. Sparse seating if one would choose to eat on site, but clean and orderly. Lady always tries to be friendly and helpful.
Gave this place a go from a friend's recommendation. The reviews were mediocre and not the best rating however we tried anyway. The reviews for this place are pretty accurate, 3* at best. It's a mom/pop/kid place with 1 table in there to sit at, so plan on takeout. The other table is full of school stuff and other things. They had my order ready exactly when i wanted and they seemed nice. When it comes down to the food, everything was really bland imo. The beef mai fun as you can see is white, it's like there is no sauce or anything, maybe just a little sesame oil. The egg rolls were pretty tasteless as well. The pork fried rice and the crab rangoons were good. The kung po chicken was mediocre, not much spice to it. The egg drop wonton soup was really thin, normally i see it a bit thicker. Once again that was pretty bland as well. Unfortunately, I don't think i will be back. I appreciate the service, good luck to you guys.

The quality of food has really gone downhill in the past two years.The Lo mein, edamame and the fried rice is way too buttery. I recently ordered sesame chicken here, and it was really hard, barely editable and tasted like seafood for some reason. After eating the sesame chicken, it didn’t take long for me to feel ? then… ?.I’m gonna rate this place two stars because the couple (I believe) who work here always treated me very well as a customer. But as of now, no more Golden China moving forward for me. ?
Excellent food. Really delicious Shrimp Chow Mein. Very nice, pleasant family-run restaurant. Definitely recommended.
