Boyf and I went to have a lobster roll on a Saturday afternoon. I have been a few times over the years and found it likeable. We got a parking spot right out front. There was no one at the hostess stand, and I tried to make eye contact with the ladies behind the bar but to no avail. I suggested we go to the patio bar, and we did. We sat and were ignored. Then a guy saw us and I smiled. This is how he greeted us: Did you check in with the hostess?
This should have been our cue to leave. We said there was no hostess. He said nothing. We finally got menus and he took our order. No friendliness at all. We split an order of lobster rolls and fries. I had a Painkiller. Boyf said The Walrus' same entree is much better. Plus they have sweet potato fries.
There was another bartender who was friendly so that helped a bit. We paid our check and went elsewhere for drinks.
Let me point out that they were not busy, with only a few tables and a few people at the back bar. No one at the front bar. And seriously, why do we need to check in to sit at the bar?

Wonderful drinks and wonderful food. Expect low lighting and crowded seating. It's a wonderfully fun place to eat and take out of towners because of the unique theme.

Food was phenomenal, came out in a timely manner and was delicious. (I had the Kalua pork)
Drinks were great also, so many to choose from and not overly sweetened.
Hospitality was great too, it was a substantially busy time but they got our party seated without much wait and were very kind.

We didn’t even get to have a drink at this establishment. We walked in and there was no host/hostess available to great us. We assumed we could just seat ourselves which was apparently incorrect. We went to the outside bar area and were immediately scolded by a bartender asking if we checked in with the host. We asked if there should be a host and he responded by saying “yes” and immediately dismissed us after his frank response. We decided to go to the bar across the road where we were greeted in a friendly manner and told to sit wherever we want. If you want people to frequent your establishment I recommend treating them in a much more friendly manner instead of scolding them because you didn’t have a host/hostess greeting customers.

My partner and I went in today on a whim, not expecting it to be so incredibly packed. Turns out they host a super cool May the Fourth event! Despite how busy they were, the manager and bar staff were super kind and the food was fantastic. Can't recommend this place more! We did have to wait around an hour for a table, but again, that's because it was packed and we didn't know we should've made reservations. They had a cool system that gave you a link to check how long we'd been waiting and what place we were in line. A storm started rolling in, so the manager kindly let us wait on their covered patio until it was our turn to be sat.
They have some amazing drinks and amazing presentations .. did I mention very affordable . Love the finger foods too .

Awesome Tiki Lounge. Really enjoyed the atmosphere, even if it was a short stay I've got a chance to try some food and buy some great merchandise. Everyone was welcoming and kind. Food was good :)
