I had heard rave reviews about this place and had wanted to try it. So we came during a Buckeye game and got seated right a way by a cheerful lady. I did love the decor and ambiance of the place but it is pretty small so I can understand how the wait times can be long at busy times. One of the things I was told to get was their specialty drinks. When the drink came out, the presentation was very Hawaiian/tiki decorative. That was fun. But boy was it small for $14…And half of it was filled will a pinapple-orange and two giant banana leaves (I think). Honestly there was so much stuff in the cup I couldn’t even see the drink. It did taste good for the few swallows I got out of it. When our food came, I had got the grilled chicken, rice, and Mac. First- and maybe I missed this on the menu- but the Mac they served was macaroni salad. I thought it was Mac and cheese (so did my partner.) When I took a bite I realized it was macaroni salad- which I despise. When I tried the chicken, I almost spit it back out! It had a very rubbery/fatty texture. I figured maybe it was just that one piece. Nope I tried about five of the chopped up pieces and they were all like that! Not quite sure what that was about but it wasn’t pleasant. I did like the two different sauces that came with it though so there’s that. Needless to say I left most of my food there. When someone came by (I thought it was the manager maybe) to ask how everything was, I said ‘not great’. He said ‘oh. Sorry. Will this be one check or two?’ I was kind of expecting an ‘Oh no! I’m so sorry! What was wrong! How can we make it up you!’ But that was that. We paid and left. It was disappointing because I had high expectations. I liked the concept of the place but we go out to eat a lot and I expect food/adult drinks to be expensive. But $14 for such a small drink! Maybe cut back on some of the presentation or something and actually give me something to drink!

Parking: There are 8-10 spots that I could see from their patio seating. Another good place to park is in the Powell police department lot. It's open to the public at no additional cost. It'll be about a 3-5 minute walk pending how far in the lot you park. Heads up, there's one street to cross if you have kiddos.

Fabulous fabulous restaurant! Intimate and great theming, we love Huli Huli. The drinks are authentic and strong. We come for birthdays, just because, and everything in between, and always have a great time.

Huli Huli Tiki Lounge is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, we were transported to a tropical paradise. The ambiance is incredible.
The service was top-notch. Simon greeted us warmly at the door, and Josh and Olive were attentive and knowledgeable bartenders. Olive, in particular, was a master of her craft, creating delicious and exotic cocktails.
The food was equally impressive, offering a variety of flavorful dishes to complement the drinks. Whether you're in the mood for a classic tiki cocktail or something more adventurous, Huli Huli Tiki Lounge has you covered.
While the place can get crowded, it's definitely worth the wait. The experience is unforgettable, and we can't wait to return.

LOVED this place. Food was amazing. Great atmosphere. Service was awesome. Drinks are unique and can be very strong. Not cheap, but worth it. If you want a cosmo or a martini with dinner, this is not your place. Their vibe is unique and the bar menu stays in line with that. Drinks are very festive and come with lots of flowers, decor, fruit, etc. Super cool place and will be back.

Food was excellent. The sauces and seasonings were perfect. I’d eat the Tiki Fries as a dessert. Insanely good. Our server Luna was friendly and attentive. The back patio is perfect on a warm night.

For a Thursday night it was kind of slow, one larger group and 2 sets of couples occupied the patio.
We like to sit at the bar so we were seated there. An older guy (Tony?) was behind the bar. Didn't greet us or anything when we sat down. When we finally interacted with him, he was kind but definitely not the kind of person I'd want behind my bar as the main bar tender. He was making all of the drinks and maybe had a bad day? Not my problem. Not a friendly person at all. I felt like asking him for anything was pissing him off.
Bang bang shrimp was very good, the loaded fries are awesome. Bao buns with pork were okay. Good flavor, but you could tell they aren't smoking meat daily which is understandable but it was just okay.
What really got me was, we got canned beer. Couldn't have thought it would be over 5-6$ also I usually don't ask, it's canned beer. PACIFICO BEER IS 8$ A CAN!!! Wtf. Didn't even get a cold glass with it. Wife's beer also $8.
My wife likes this place, yes it's cool, yes the food is pretty good. But it's expensive for what it is.
Lastly, the large group had about 8-9 women (all buying 15-17$ drinks mind you) keeping them busy behind the bar. One more guest arrived, grabbed a nearby chair and the waitress started yelling at her "nope, nope, nope!" pretty loud... The bar was basically empty and also, why are you yelling at this person that just walked in, like a child... rubbed me the wrong way.
Next time my wife suggests this place, I'll go, but I'll suggest other places first.
Our bill was 80$ for 3 apps and 4 beers........20 percent=96$ for dinner.
