I've been a customer of Masseys Pizza the original in Whitehall for over 50 years. This location has new management and I can tell you they nailed the recipe to perfection! To boot they serve waffles which make an excellent desert. If you want classic Columbus Pizza this is the place to visit. Finally the family that runs it is incredible, they make sure you are taken care of. A must visit for any poizza lover.

Under new ownership. The previous owners ran the shop into the ground. The new owners have managed to bring the quality back. The dining room is small, for sure, and it is a little strange that they have a Belgium Waffle station in the front, but I get carryout once a week and love it.

This location used to be good in 2023-early 2025 before it temporarily closed, but once it reopened under new management it’s awful. They should’ve just stayed closed because at their current quality and service level, they won’t be open long anyway. Previously I had ordered basically a DIY cauliflower pizza - they knew my order and knew exactly what to do. I was close to the Delaware location before they closed and I ordered a cauliflower pizza every Friday, but since the Powell location is nearly 30 minutes away, I always asked for a unbaked crust with the pepperoni and cheese on the side so I could just assemble and cook it at home so it wouldn’t get cold and soggy. The new management told me the policy is that everything has to be cooked for at least a minute. Now…use your brains here, folks…I am ordering 1) a crust that’s pre-baked (they do not make the cauliflower crust in-house; it is ordered from a food service company), 2) cheese (if everything needs to be cooked for a minute, are they BAKING the same cheese they put on their salads?!), and 3) pepperoni…it’s already cured and can safely be eaten without cooking should you so desire, and again…it’s ok to put it on their salad without cooking it, so…??? And I told them I didn’t even need sauce, so that’s not a factor. Critical thinking skills at their best here 😏

And don’t even get me started on their sorry excuse for the pizza they put on the buffet…you’re better off going to one of the nearby gas stations, even their pizza would be fresher than this old, sad, barely lukewarm, scantily topped junk.

I don't usually review but this place truly deserve every bit of it. Ordered Italian Sub and Pepperoni pizza and they were absolutely delicious. Amazing service and a tidy environment. This became my go-to place from then.

I grew up with Massey's. Every friday night for most of my childhood was that pizza. I write this for anyone else that did. I haven't been in years and only once to Powell and it was really nice, so I figure let's go.

Well, I knew something was wrong from pulling up. The old Masseys was split into two businesses, A Great Clips and Masseys. The dining room is very small and made even smaller by having a waffle shop IN the dining room?

The cashier was a teen with a 'tude but that's par for the course. The rest of the staff were very pleasant.

The pizza. I have always said I have never met a pizza I didn't like. Well, I won't ever say that again after having this. It was totally devoid of the famous Masseys sauce. The cheese was store bought and the crust was basically a cracker. The worst pizza I have ever had...and I've had pizza in Beijing.

Maybe someone who didn't grow up with Masseys may enjoy this, but anyone that is looking to get the same Massey's flavor, do not come here. I think there is still one in Reynoldsburg, will try that next time even though it's a hour away.

This place was a truly awful experience.

Supreme pizza is my favorite. Its Columbus-Style pizza, but the crust is sliiiightly thicker than Iaconos or Tommys, which I love. Pizza is never soggy, but I always order mine well done.

The staff during my past two visits have been extremely helpful and kind. I will say, the inside atmosphere is a bit outdated, but that doesn't effect the pizza flavor :)

We used to love the Powell Massey’s location but over the last 4 months the service and food has declined considerably. They added tablecloths which could be a nice addition but tonight every one of them was dirty. We picked the least dirty to sit at. The staff were playing and watching videos the whole time. My pizza was burnt and husbands was fine. Sad to say our favorite pizza place is no more. We will start looking for a new one.

The worst food besides salad, that I've ever had. $50 in the trash. They left food on the porch without even a knock. No salad dressing, no dip for the calzone. Cheese sticks were nuked. Most disgusting food I've EVER had

We had the lunch buffet here. The staff brought out an appropriate amount for the people dining, and responded quickly to customer requests. The restaurant and restrooms were clean. Staff was courteous. The games available to play are an added bonus.
Will definitely return.

So awful! Sauce has changed and is now very sweet. Really undercooked even though I asked for well done. Very doughy. This used to be the best pizza, now horrible.

I have read some reviews and would like to address the ingredients… they taste like bland garbage due to the owner’s inability to order the ingredients from a truck that carries all of the iconic ingredients that make Massey’s, taste like the Cadillac of pizza we all know and love. It is a shame that the reply from Massey’s left that out and acted clueless. When you hop around GFS and Kroger’s for whatever ingredients you can afford, no 2 experiences will ever be the same, the quality plummets, and loyal customers do not return. Now on to the employees… They are not being paid in full, and on time. This has been a problem since may of 2025 and continues to spiral.
