We were there on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, for our first visit. The place seemed inviting. Unlike so many restaurants, there wasn't anything pretentious on the menu that we couldn't pronounce. We ordered a beer each to start. A Blue Moon and a Bud Light on draft. Later we ordered food and enjoyed listening to the DJ's Music Trivia contest. (Really got a kick out of the group of folks called "Crystal Meth-odists.") A little while later we ordered a second round. And we really sucked at identifying songs beyond 1980. 'Cuz we're old. Now this is where major props are to be given to the hiring committee for bringing on staff who haven't mastered basic mathematics. In other words, once counting gets past, oh, "1," then things start to get a little dicey. It seems to be a little fuzzy figuring out the difference between 2 and 3. When our bill arrived, we noticed we had been charged for *3* beers each. Yet we'd only had *2*. So, knowing anytime you have human beings involved, mistakes can be made, we brought it to the lady's attention. At that point, she got a concerned look on her face . . . as if, perhaps, she wished she'd paid more attention to basic counting (1, 2, 3 . . . ) We asked her to adjust the bill to reflect the *2* drinks we each had. She left us, and immediately carried on a conversation with the woman who had actually been our server. Our server (again, props to the hiring committee for hiring the mathematically challenged) kept swearing we'd ordered *3*. The woman who'd presented us with the bill (who wasn't our original server) came back and said -- and this was a first in my 65 years -- "We're going to check the security tapes." So again, kudos to the management who've instilled such a meticulous accounting environment that it's worth calling your customers LIARS if it nets you another $11. A rather excessive interval before check-presenter-woman again appeared to inform us, "We haven't checked the tapes yet, but we're going to just take the 3rd beers off the check." And again, mega-dittoes (can you say that in 2024?) to the management's policy, "NEVER apologize to a customer for calling them liars. It makes you look weak." All in all . . . a QUITE non-forgettable experience. One I'm SURE to share with . . . let's see, EVERYONE I meet for perhaps the next ten years.

I stood at the bar for ten minutes right beside the register and didn’t get served…they went by me multiple times. I had no drinks in front me, just walked in. Band was terrible.

A good local neighborhood bar with decent beer selection but a great staff. There's also a decent menu for food.

Stopped in tonight because I use frequent here a few years back before I joined the military. Two stunning bartenders, Kayla and Laura, greeted me with beautiful smiles I wasn’t sure what to have but Kayla recommended a seasonal Sam Adams that is now a favorite. I ran into an old friend from the Wyandot Lake days and we were reliving our youth and did a shot. Laura poured one of her go to’s that went down smooth. Felt very welcome in here. Will come back next time in town.

I love this place! Way more than “just a bar.” A quesadilla and Busch lite on tap - cannot go wrong.

Every time my wife and I have Come I here, we are welcomed like family. The food is exceptional and the service is better than all neighborhood bars in Ohio. Clean bathrooms, fun atmosphere, and great special. We will be coming here again!PS- the chicken quesadilla is phenomenal. Worth the trip itself

Good pot roast sandwich. 2nd time eating here. If we lived closer it would be more times stopping.

I love this place. it is our neighborhood bar. A very familiar crowd. It's like a little community. It's just easy and low maintenance and surprisingly good food. I never knew tater tots could be so good - hands down the best tater tots, pot roast sandwich and nachos in town. Also, the food is not only good, it's always consistent which I love. You always know what you're going to get. The bartenders are all great - every single one of them is friendly and nice. Service is always good no matter how busy they are. Queen of Hearts on Thursdays and trivia on Wednesdays. Food and drinks are reasonably priced. I was skeptical years ago when I moved in that area and my husband and I went there for the first time but I ended up loving it. Also a cute little patio with heaters and a t.v. I've had so many great conversations out there with other regulars.
