Beautiful atmosphere and friendly, fast service. The only thing that was very disappointing was the food. My boyfriend and I came for brunch and the “crispy potatoes” were limp, underdone, and had a strong oil-like flavor. The Huevos Rancheros came with about a tablespoon of chorizo for the entire dish, and also arrived without avocado (which granted, the server did quickly bring when we told her it was missing). My boyfriend got the soufflé sandwich and also said it was underwhelming. Overall it is a nice place but I wish the food was better. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing.

Not many vegetarian options. They had two quiches but both were with meat. Every other breakfast item had a meat ingredient. The server was not friendly either. Very underwhelming experience. It looks like a very whitewashed place Besides, the owner was constantly on our asses and picked up our plates the second we put the last bite in our mouth. It did not make us feel welcome. it wasn’t even busy or crowded.

The food was good, just underwhelming. My avocado toast did not look like it had in the past, it looked like it was thrown together very quickly. It tasted good though, and I really like this place and will be back.

There is a lot to like about the Locust Table: it has friendly service, well lit by big bright windows, and a variety of seating. The food overall is good, well tasting with fresh ingredients. The biggest issue is their salads. I'm not a fan of the chicken they put in their salads, it can be a little dry and tough and isn't dressed or integrated into the salad. if you don't spend to add the chicken, the salads become extremely anemic and aren't really enough to make a meal out of them. The Fall Mixed Green salad is a perfect example of the need for Locusts Table to rethink their salads. It isn't the farm stand mix greens you'd expect (it's romaine lettuce) and is severely lacking in substance. There needs to be a greater diversity of greens and maybe some other veggies in a salad that costs $12 before adding the chicken (which is an up charge ). The result isn't a meal, but more of a painfully inadequate side salad.

This place is an awesome place to eat! Great people working there and the food is delicious. The breakfast burrito and the short rib sandwich melt are my favorites. A lot of healthy options as well!

We came from Connecticut to go to the Columbus zoo and stopped here for brunch. All the staff were super friendly. Food was delicious. Definitely would recommend this to anyone traveling to the zoo for a quick bite to eat. We will definitely come back
