Wife ordered us two smoothies today via their mobile app. Arrive 10 mins after that and wait in-store another 15 mins. The total time isn’t even the issue, it’s that people arrived to place an in-store order for smoothie + made-to-order food and got theirs before me and a few other mobile orders. Just ridiculous. Turn off mobile order-ahead in your app if that’s how things operate at this location.

We have had the BEST service using Powell Tropical Smoothie for our team meals this fall. The manager has been wonderful to work with and really has gone above & beyond for our group.

The app estimated 10 minutes for order pickup for 2 smoothies. I arrived at the quoted time, and the place was packed with people waiting. Another guest told me she had been waiting an hour. I waited another 15 minutes and then asked where my order was in the queue. They retrieved my order from a back kitchen counter along with other smoothies that should’ve been in the pickup area. Needless to say the smoothies were very runny and melting. The person next to me asked for a refund because she couldn’t wait any longer, and the worker said no one there was able to do that. I also heard rumblings that the manager up and left teenagers running the store on their own. I don’t know if that was accurate, but regardless, I would not go back to this location. It was a disaster.

Food is good. If you are watching calories or trying to eat healthy just beware because some of the smoothies and food items you can easily be at or over 1,000 calories. That being said I do enjoy their smoothies and it's a tastier option.

Great Experience on a Friday early evening
Stopped into Tropical Smoothie on a busy Friday needing a quick, healthy pick-me-up — just a smoothie and a sandwich. I expected a bit of a wait due to the online and call-in orders already lined up. What really impressed me was how efficiently the team worked. Three young ladies behind the counter were absolutely hustling — organized, focused, and knocking out orders with speed and accuracy. Everything looked fresh and tasted great. As a baby boomer, I don’t always expect that level of fast-paced coordination, but they nailed it. Big kudos to that team — you made my quick stop a great experience. I am very sorry I didn’t have the time to grab names.

Walked in 20 minutes before close, place was empty, I know it was late… but they ignored us at the counter for 5 minutes and then said they’ll only do smoothies bc they already cleaned up for food.
I’ve worked this an exact position before… I know it’s frustrating when they’re like 5 minutes till close. Even then, I rewashed the tools I used. Closing tasks come AFTER close. They had plenty of time and people to serve us and just didn’t?
