Food was great and will always be back‼️
My husband and I love Victor’s Taco Shop! I always get the breakfast burrito and my husband gets the enchiladas and tacos. We’ve always had great service and the food is always delicious! 😋 🌮

This 3-table gas station taco shop has excellent flavorful made-to-order Mexican food. Order ahead for carryout or order at the counter. They're fast. Try the carnitas burrito!

Picking food up on 6/20/2024 around 5 pm for the family and they don’t offer a soft taco with ground beef for kids. They usually switch it out because it’s for a two year old that doesn’t like hard shells because it hurts her mouth. The cashier said absolutely not and to only go by the menu they don’t change anything from it to be accommodating, even though if you order a enchilada with no sauce and add cheese it’s the same thing but they still wouldn’t even do that. Well we ended up not ordering from there because of this and went to a competitor that did accommodate us since they are in the customer service business without wanting to make anyone happy with a click of a button. P.S. fix your A/C it’s 98 degrees out and it’s not a good sight seeing your sweat dripping everywhere around food.

Restaurantji Recommends
Ordered a veggie burrito and added jalapeños ($1 extra).
Ingredients listed on website for veggie burrito: Veggies, rice, beans, guacamole, sour cream, lettuce tomato and cheese.
By that description, one would reasonably think there were other vegetables in addition to the lettuce and tomato listed, right? Like perhaps onion and peppers? Some kind of VEGGIE, correct?
Apparently not.
I had ordered the guacamole on the side, which I did not receive. So the only “veggies” in my “veggie” burrito were lettuce and tomato. (sorry, beans are not a vegetable.)
Already disappointed by the lackluster burrito, THEN I find a hair inside of it. Like buried in the rice and beans. EWWW.
Super grossed out, I called the restaurant. The girl who answered was defensive ("my hair is pulled back") but said she would call her manager. I called back 10 min later to see what the manager said, she was unable to reach them. I said I want my $10 back for the burrito because of false advertising, it did not include a key ingredient, but contained extra hair. She said that she couldn’t do that. I asked for a gift card, They don’t offer those. Then she started arguing with me about the contents of the burrito which was the lesser issue - the real problem was the hair. She was so defensive saying "it's not my hair" (I didn't say it was specifically hers) "we have cameras here" (not sure how that would prove a hair isn't in the food) "there's only 1 guy making the food" (could have been the person chopping lettuce yesterday?)
Then she offered that if I brought the hair back into the restaurant, then they would make me whatever I wanted. Since I had already thrown away the disgusting food in addition to losing my appetite, that wasn’t happening. I asked to have the manager call me, she said he would call in the morning (today). I gave her my number and asked for the manager’s name. She refused to give it out. I asked why and she said they’ve been getting scammed?? What? I just wanted to know who to expect a call from. But not giving out the manager’s first name is a huge red flag.
I would never give them any money and would never tell anyone else to go there. The poor food quality and hair inside were both bad, but the horrible service by the girl who answered the phone made it so much worse.
Oh, and the manager never called me, shocker. I should reverse the charge on my credit card but I don’t want to waste any more of my time on this horrid experience.

The service of the girl with funny hair is horrible... she has a detestable character... the cooks are very friendly but the cashier is terrible, she treats the customers very badly... I ordered 3 roast meats from the menu and the cashier responded very reluctantly What if I wanted tacos or anything else on the menu but I was clear when I said carne asada... the restaurant does not have air conditioning, it is very hot inside...

The best SoCal Mexican food that I’ve had since leaving San Diego in 99. The carne asada fries are amazing and if you want a killer burrito get the Liles burrito. I promise you won’t be disappointed.
