Friendly people and good food

Anthony “Goose” Cogossi

Visited on a Sunday. Great local bar and restaurant. There were 3 in our party and we arrived around 1 in the afternoon.
Service and food were delicious! We ordered a medium cheese pizza with half pep, steak burrito, loaded potato wedges, and a fried bologna sandwich!
We will be ordering the pizza again in the future as there was plenty of sauce and toppings with it cooked well.
Definitely suggest a visit if you’re in the area!

A great local tavern with friendly people and very tasty food.

That was probably the most disgusting meal I’ve ever had. Average would be an exaggeration. I ordered a bowl of chili, pizza fries, two chicken nugget kids meals, $9/piece. My husband ordered the fish dinner and I had the buffalo chicken sandwich.. with drinks our bill was over $100. They don’t have any prices on the menu. All of us left feeling sick to our stomachs. Don’t waste your time going, you’d be better off going to McDonald’s.

Amazing little bar, owner treated us warmly and servers where great. Jalapeño burger i had was simply to die for. Well worth the trip.

3/1/25: Such a shame! Not the first time ive been to this establishment, but will likely be the last. The food is good, no complaints there. The service? That’s where the issue started. My 10 year old daughter and I arrive between 5:30-6pm and walk in. No greeting, no sign that either says “please wait to be seated” or “seat yourself”. The main bar room/dining area isn’t full, but there are a moderate number of people seated at tables and the bar. Almost all of the tables in this area are large tables joined together so you’re almost forced to share with people you don’t know, unless you go to the smaller dining area off to the side. My daughter and I chose to go to the smaller area and get a table for just the two of us, but we literally sat at the table directly next to the archway between the two areas. Any server/employee has to literally walk past us and our table each time. The first issue was the music playing through the speaker mounted right by our table. It wasn’t too loud, and for the most part the songs were appropriate, except for one which seemed to have the F word on repeat. I don’t know the name or the artist and I don’t care. If it were later in the evening and not prime time where people might bring their families in for a meal I’d say play whatever music you like and crank it as loud as you want. The second issue, and this may actually be a little generous, it took at least 10 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge us or take a drink order. In fact, it took so long for someone to take our drink order we had plenty of time to review the menu and order an appetizer too. Still, I didn’t think it was a big deal at that point. Things happen, people have multiple things going on, I really do get that, but it really wasn’t all that busy. Drinks and appetizers came pretty quick, no issue there at all. At that time we ordered our meals (2 cheeseburgers and 8 mild wings) so the server didn’t have to make an extra trip. Credit where credit is due…the potato skins were good. Now here’s where the downhill slide really started. A few minutes after ordering our meals, I noticed they had Keno, so I played 10 games…why not? Long story short, almost all 10 games completed (1.5 to 2 minutes per game and 1.5 to 2 minutes between each game) and we still didn’t have our meals. Drinks were sitting empty. Also, during that time the band shows up and starts setting up their equipment. Still no food at this point…did anyone come and ask us to move to one of the other tables? No. Prior to all of this, did anyone come and tell us there was a band coming in that would be setting up in that area and we should consider moving to another table? Also no. Finally, after maybe 20-25 minutes we get our food. We took that opportunity to order and a second round of drinks, which came within a minute or two, so that’s a positive. Now, just as we are about to dig in and start enjoying these burgers we waited patiently for, one of the band members comes over to our table and asks us to move so he can set up the equipment. He was very polite and I’m not going to blame any of this on him or his bandmate. The bigger issue is we could’ve enjoyed and been done with our meal long before this and we wouldn’t have had to move. Admittedly, I wasn’t exactly thrilled about this and I finally voiced my displeasure to the server (who hadn’t even been our server before this) about how long everything had taken. We collected our food and drink and moved to another table. One of the band members must’ve overheard me telling the server and felt bad, because she brought a gift card over to the table. I said “no thank you” but she left it on the table anyway. The server I voiced my frustration with, who apparently then became our new server, came by and apologized again. We ate and it was good, even though the whole experience was kind of soured at that point. After sitting there for a while, our new server came back around and I requested a “to go” box and the check. It took a few more minutes but she brought the check. I had my credit card rea

My husband and I were there last night and were shocked when we were charged $12 for pop. Nowhere does it state refills are not free — thought that was standard — nor did the bartender ask if we realized refills weren’t free. The pizza was delicious but $12 for fountain pop seems a little extreme. And the non disclosure of such is annoying.

Menu prices went up, incredibly over priced & terrible service. Cold food. $3 sodas. No free refills. Cleaning bucket and clean dishes on the sink touching. Awful “entertainment” I suggest taking your money elsewhere.

I have no idea how this is rated 4.5 stars. Unless the only one's reviewing are the locals and never had good food. We ordered 1 med pizza, 1 fish fry, 1 burger. The bill was $76.00. see the problem here? They also have fountain drinks at $3 each. Oh and that doesn't cover refills they are also $3 each that you learn once you finish the first glass. All the food was garbage, fish was flavorless, burger dry, pizza my kids wouldn't eat.
