This used to be one of my favorite seafood spots, but unfortunately, the quality has significantly declined over the years. I can no longer recommend it due to multiple instances of receiving old seafood. What makes it worse is their policy of not offering replacements or refunds for poor-quality food. Seafood isn’t cheap, and I can’t keep supporting a place where I can’t rely on getting fresh meals. It’s disappointing, but I won’t be coming back.

This was our first time here, and our server Troyonna did an excellent job helping us navigate the menu. We tried a little bit of everything (fried oysters, calamari, catfish, seafood boil, hush puppies), and everything she recommended was delicious... Especially the crab tots! We will definitely be back!

My sister and I dined at Cajun Boil Bar. I had a boil with a lobster tail, black muscles, shrimp, corn, potato, boiled egg, and sausages. Everything that was in the boil was delicious, except for the sausage, which tasted like some cheap sausage you buy from the 5 Quarter store. She had the fried catfish with sweet potato fries. I sampled the catfish, and it was tasty. The server deserves a big fat 0 rating. I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt, but I think he was trying to con us into spending more money. He raved about their pumpkin cheesecake, and after giving him a no answer 3 times, he stated that it was so good that now he wanted a slice. He returned with a slice and set it down in front of me. I reminded him that he was giving a no answer to desserts, and he proclaimed that we ordered the cheesecake. After going back and forth with him, he seemed to get upset as he aggressively removed the cheesecake cake from the table. When he presented our dinner check, the cheesecake cake was still on the check. We inquired as to why the cheesecake was still on the check. His response was that all sales are final, and he could not remove the cheesecake from the bill. We made it clear that we were not going to pay for that that we didn't order. He seemed upset as he threw 10.00 on the table and said he would pay for it and walked away talking to himself. I will go back to this restaurant because I enjoyed the meal, but if the next server is anything like that one, that would be it for me, no returns.
