Used to be...i was there 15 minutes and no service....i left
While the food may taste good, I'd caution people about eating here. I worked there long enough to tell you that Nic, the owner, runs THE dirtiest kitchen I've ever seen in my life. There are few to no standards and the cleanliness of the kitchen is non-existent. Eat at Cajun Island at your own peril.
Food was so good & presentation so perfect, eating it was almost like ruining a beautiful piece of art. Made my soul happy.
Blackened chicken with bow tie pasta is a family favorite!
It BEST TOP! It very delicious with blackened chicken with bowtie pasta and sauce too! Love it!
Best cajun in the columbus area. Order ahead though- you may have to wait a little bit but it’s worth it!
Food is hot and ready blackened chicken tastes great for the price the people are so kind.
Chicken is tough Tuesday Wed and Thursday. Made fresh on Friday and leftovers after that all week till the next Friday. This place is the best and they do a great job 👍
The blackened chicken strips is amazing it has a tasty sauce that will make you want to purchase the item again.

Great food, friendly staff, large servings and enough for take home leftovers
This little place, so uniquely decorated, has the most wonderful food! Customer service and even the customers were so helpful! The value was incredible and the portions were huge.
This place has gone down hill tremendously. Dry chicken and a lot smaller portion sizes.
If you’re craving Cajun food that’s more like a dessert, then this place is for you! The blackened chicken with bowtie pasta I had could’ve been the star of a sugar rush, thanks to the pasta sauce that was more sugar-and-butter than anything Cajun. I’m still wondering if I accidentally ordered dessert instead of dinner. As for the chicken, it was… fine. It had a nice blackened seasoning, but the meal was overpowered by that sugary mess.
Now, let’s talk about the ambiance. It’s like they threw a yard sale in front of the restaurant, then thought, “Hey, let’s tape the menu to the wall for that authentic, ‘we’re barely hanging on’ vibe.” Inside? Same thing. It’s like New Orleans, but if New Orleans was really trying to hold on to its soul and kept tripping over mismatched furniture.
The service? Surprisingly good. The lady was friendly, and my to-go order was ready in a flash, which is the only reason this place gets a second chance. But please, for the love of all things Cajun, dial down the sweetness. If I wanted dessert pasta, I would’ve gone to a bakery!
I love the Blackened chicken with bowtie pasta from here it is my favorite thing and you gotta get an extra cup of sauce to dip that chicken in too!
