The chicken with bowtie pasta is good but the chicken was very dry this time around but I love the pasta and sauce I could eat that without the chicken any day of the week

I purchased the family size blackened chicken pasta. Not the first time I've gotten it, and it is always amazing. The pasta , chicken and sauce work so well. Never had anything like this anywhere else in Columbus. I love the atmosphere and all the decor. Great service. Definitely recommend!! I am very upset I didn't take a picture. Just shows how good it is.

The bourbon sauce is good, however, it is put on EVERYTHING!! I had cajus pasta, the sauce was put on top which made it sweet. I alo had "muddy rice", this also has sauce on top and was sweet, and a piece of pecan pie. Too much sugar!! My companion had ribs with sauce on the side. The ribs were burned little pieces of rib that were steamed in water with green onions and red peppers on top. They tasted like wet, saltless, flavorless pieces of charcoal. The pasta was so sweet it was unappealing so I tried to eat some of the rice without sauce. The rice was also wet, saltless, flavorless. The cashier was an affible guy but the food missed the mark.

I waited 40 minutes for a two piece cajun fried chicken with potato wedges. After my 40 min wait. I received regular fried chicken and mashed potatoes. I won’t be back. Food was subpar for how long it took.

We ordered the blackened chicken with bow tie pasta family size. This is my go to order from here. This batch was awful. The chicken was So blackened and extremely dry. Almost all the chicken pieces were the "ends". I gave most of it away. Because I love this I will try it again But!!!

Only been here twice but each time it was great. Got the blackened chickened with the bow tie pasta (allergic to seafood) and it was good plus I never had any signs of a reaction which means there was no cross contamination! Only thing I wasn't a fan of is that after like 7 or 8 you have to order online instead of being able to order in person but I'm just not a fan of that in general.

I have been coming here since I was pregnant and I don’t know how I am just now realizing that I have not left them a review. My daughter is now three and we still love coming here as a family. Our usual order is their FRIED CHICKEN!!! Omg, the best fried chicken I have ever tried since I moved here. Trust me, I know my flavors. lol. This isn’t one of those fried chicken that solely relies on the flavor of the sauce that you dip it in like how you get your wings. I have tried so many fried chickens, of different flavor profile, coming or inspired by different countries and their chicken is still on top of the list. Crispy, juicy and very very flavorful! Cajun Island is my comfort fried chicken. Another recommendation is their bourbon chicken which flavor is also spot on! This used to be our every Friday meal because we crave for it every week! It is that good!

I ordered the gator gumbo and the portion was small for the price and also it was only meat, gravy and rice. I called the restaurant about the missing vegetables and the lady said “I don’t know what to tell you, the owner must not have put any in when he cooked it and it’s precooked so it can’t be added”. The first picture is on the website, the 2nd is what my dish looked like!
