I got steak and chicken tacos. I also got chips and salsa. The chips and salsa were very good! The tacos were good, but they were on the small side for being $3 or $4. Overall, I'd recommended checking this place out. Its a delicious gem in Reynoldsberg!

El Fogoncito is one of those taquerías that doesn’t need flash — it wins with flavor. I stopped in for a quick bite and ended up low-key obsessed. The al pastor tacos were the standout: thinly sliced pork with that perfect crispy char, fresh cilantro and onion, and a little hit of pineapple that ties the whole thing together. That’s how you do tacos.
The tortillas were warm and clearly made fresh — soft with just enough toast to hold it all in. I also tried the carne asada, which came hot, juicy, and well-seasoned. Add their house green salsa? Game over.
Service was fast, friendly, and straight to the point — just how I like it. This spot has that classic “hole-in-the-wall, but it hits every time” energy. Whether you’re craving late-night tacos or just want something real, El Fogoncito delivers.

Without a doubt, the absolute best al pastor tacos I have ever had. On Thursday they are only $1.25. Give them a try, you will not regret it.
The food was all very bland. I liked the verde sauce they have, but the food seemed unseasoned. The queso was good but from the whole meal it was the best part.

The chunky cashier said that they charge for habanero….. okay if I couldn’t pay I wouldn’t be asking. Then she just charged whatever and couldn’t tell me what she charged me for. I ordered 2 chicken tacos ($3each) 1 steak ($4). That’s $10. She said the habanero was $1, then switched it to $2. Then said there was a .48cent service charge for the card. Which wasn’t disclosed b/c I had cash. The issue is not being honest. Service has DRASTICALLY changed.
