Yo Bronx Review

My family and I have been going to this Waffle House for 5 years at least once a month. Never really had a problem or issue with their service. 4pm Yesterday, after ordering online and headed there to pick up- it was a bad semi accident that cause an hour delay in getting my food. I was upset that I couldn’t call them or cancel my online order- becuase all I want to do was go home. The next morning, We stopped by and Server Yuri called my name out and was wondering what happen to us! They replaced our order đŸ„° I love this! And will always return

I would not suggest this waffle house. Our server in training was very nice and was trying her best but she clearly wasn’t being trained well, considering none of the other staff were really doing their jobs. Everyone was on their phones. All of our food came out one small plate at a time. The kitchen was terribly filthy. We watched one employee wipe his nose with his hand and immediately grab uncooked meat. After waiting a while, we realized they forgot to make our waffles for us. I asked for them to-go because we were ready to leave at that point, and they proceeded to burn the waffles two separate times before they finally brought them to us. Employees aren’t paying attention to the customers or to cooking. I’m not a snob about professionalism or anything like that, but this was pretty exceptionally bad. We did not eat our leftovers for fear of food poisoning.

I dont expect alot from Waffle House, but this location has some lackluster service and poorly trained staff.

I've waited 10 minutes for a cup of coffee before even when they're not busy. I'm sorry they turned the one north of I-70 on Brice Rd to Delivery Only.

I'd go elsewhere

So we walked in and was not greeted, no sense of urgency to clean freed up tables, restaurant was not busy while the workers standing around talking tables were dirty and we stood around for a few minutes before the maintenance worker told the cook to clean a table for us and the young man just clocked in and waited on us and took care of us, he got a nice tip as well as the cook in front of the rest of the workers that was standing around talking, so this restaurant got 3 stars across the board because the start of shift people took care of us not the ones that was already there.

There was no sense of urgency to care for the guest we waited 20 min because no one bussed the tables we walked out. We watched them for the 20 minutes we waited for a clean table. They had other tables with guests that just piled their own plates that they needed cleared from the table. Another set of guest were done eating and still sid not receive the rest of the items they ordered and the man that was leaving his table and signaled us that we could have his table waited longer than we were waiting just to cash out! The worst experience ever !

I recently visited Waffle House, and let me tell you, it was an absolutely phenomenal experience from start to finish! The food was nothing short of amazing, with the Buckeye Buster stealing the show. This dish was a masterpiece—perfectly crafted with flavors that hit all the right spots. The eggs were cooked to absolute perfection, fluffy and just the way I like them. The biscuits were warm, buttery, and melted in my mouth, while the hash browns were crispy, golden, and seasoned to perfection. And don’t get me started on the gravy—it was magnificent, rich, and creamy, elevating every bite to a whole new level of deliciousness.
The store itself was spotless and incredibly welcoming. From the moment I walked in, the bright, clean environment made me feel right at home. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a meal.
The staff? Pure gold. Everyone was kind, professional, and went above and beyond to make my visit memorable. My server, Kiki, was an absolute superstar—attentive, friendly, and made sure every detail was perfect. I also have to give a huge shoutout to Marco, Niki, Mymy, Rodney, Ambria, and Charles. They are hands-down the most amazing Waffle House staff to ever exist. Their teamwork, energy, and dedication to making every customer feel special was truly remarkable. These folks deserve raises for their outstanding service and for making my meal an unforgettable experience. Waffle House, you’ve got a gem of a team and a menu that’s out of this world. I’ll be back for more of that Buckeye Buster and that incredible gravy!
