The outside patio is lovely. The food was so so. I had the salmon burger. It was more breading than salmon and very dry and hard. I specifically asked if they made the salmon burger from scratch, was it good and was it worth ordering. I was told yes on all counts. I asked for a side of grilled veggies. The were obviously grilled the night before and just warmed up for my lunch. My lunch mates all had perogies. No one raved but they didn't have any complaints.

3 pm was a good time to have a meal. The bartender was excellent. The waiter was good. Unfortunately, there was a loud beeping from a broken service elevator, which was very annoying. Food quality was excellent. I thought it was odd that our leftovers were boxed up after every section of the meal before the whole meal was finished. Would I bring people here again for a special meal? No, I would not.

We had a great time on the patio. The music was great & not to loud. The soup, beet salad, salmon & pierogis were great!

I hadn't been to this restaurant for many years, and was delighted to re-visit the renovated venue with a close friend. The menu features many European dishes including schnitzel and borscht, as well as some amazing seafood and well-prepared other choices. Everything on the menu sounded delicious and looked amazing as it came out of the kitchen. My friend and I LOVED the crab cake stuffed salmon, served with mashed potatoes and perfectly cooked grilled asparagus. I highly recommend this restaurant - the prices are good the white wine was cold, and our server was top-notch. It was a great evening.

I was really looking forward to coming here based off of the restaurants history and reviews. I should have gone elsewhere and do not recommend anything about this place. The receptionist was not engaging or even polite. Once we were sat, it took 22 minutes for our server to make an appearance. She, I believe Olivia, seemed surprised we were even there. Which is funny because there were only three tables in use. The food was bad. We started with crab cakes (2 for $18). The only flavor they had was a dirty burnt oil flavor on the top crust I assume was from the pan. I had the lamb chops…which were obviously prepared by someone who has never cooked lamb. It was dry and tough. My asparagus was under cooked and I was given fried potatoes instead of mashed potatoes. The server was quick to ask if we we all finished….while we were still eating. I’m not sure what people are used to when rating a restaurant as a 4 or 5, but this is not it.

Olesia's Taverne is excellent. Food, drinks and service top-notch. We appreciated not having to explain how to make a non-frozen Daiquiri. And the crème brûlée was classic.

The food was excellent. the waiters and waitresses were extremely busy because the patio and restaurant was very crowded, but they did a wonderful job of serving us.

The patio was lovely and covered by shade umbrellas. Service was excellent and the food was quite good, but wasn't as expected for the price. The lambchops were cooked to order but not very well seasoned, and the Schnitzel, surprizingly, was more like eating a pork loin filet. It was rather thick and chewy. Not what I have come to expect as schnitzel, and disappointing as this should be one of their signature dishes. They also use paprika as a garnish, which doesn't necessarily pair well with some of the dishes. We were celebrating my wife's birthday and our server brought out a complimentary Creme Brulee, which was very thoughtful, and I had ordered a slice of carrot cake, my wife's favorite. Bo of the desserts were excellent. Overall, the atmosphere of this historic building and the patio are wonderful, and we enjoyed our meal with just a few small issues.

Delicious! Portions were so big, the mushroom sauce was the stuff dreams are made of. Enjoyed every bite.

Everyone was very nice.....bartenders and servers. Food was very good. Only thing was where we were seated....odd table off of the bar nowhere near other diners or in main dining. I think they wanted to give bartenders some tables but we were sort of isolated.

The food at Olesia's was outstanding! Very reminiscent of my family's eastern European heritage. Our server was exceptional, answering questions and making suggestions. I highly recommend Olesia's Tavern of Richfield.

We sat in the main dining area and got a drink at the bar. The restaurant is so beautiful. The service was incredible, especially from the busser and our server. Every part of our dining experience was met with great customer service, efficiency, and quality. We will definitely be going back!

Wife and I celebrated our anniversary. The staff was pleasant, and aiming to please. My wife ordered the lobster bisque which was excellent. I ordered the Greek salad which was replete with olives, feta cheese and great flavor. My wife had the short ribs and pierogies while I had the barbecue pork chop- both excellent. The pork chop was so thick I could not finish it- portions were wonderful. Even the bread they brought to the table was superb. We highly recommend coming to this restaurant for an interesting and enjoyable dining experience.

Food was cold. Brussels Sprouts were hard. Told server about cold food. Server did not ask if we wanted the food rewarmed or food replaced with hot food.
