The outside patio is lovely. The food was so so. I had the salmon burger. It was more breading than salmon and very dry and hard. I specifically asked if they made the salmon burger from scratch, was it good and was it worth ordering. I was told yes on all counts. I asked for a side of grilled veggies. The were obviously grilled the night before and just warmed up for my lunch. My lunch mates all had perogies. No one raved but they didn't have any complaints.
I hadn't been to this restaurant for many years, and was delighted to re-visit the renovated venue with a close friend. The menu features many European dishes including schnitzel and borscht, as well as some amazing seafood and well-prepared other choices. Everything on the menu sounded delicious and looked amazing as it came out of the kitchen. The patio was lovely and covered by shade umbrellas. Service was excellent and the food was quite good, but wasn't as expected for the price. The lambchops were cooked to order but not very well seasoned, and the Schnitzel, surprizingly, was more like eating a pork loin filet. It was rather thick and chewy.
