Ripley's Dinner Bell Reviews
First time here today. We had the Pork chops special, very tender, flavorful and large portions. Prices were good. Our wait was a bit long due to only one waitress. But she was great!
Definitely could use some extra help for the lunch rush. But overall, a great lunch.
Their specials are always delicious. We love the wings!
I was blown out of the park back when this place was is mayslick. Today I went to the ripley location, unfriendly waitstaff, several of the items listed on the menu being unavailable, and food that made me literally get sick when I left. Not a pretty sight. Do not anticipate coming back which is really sad since there are hardly any decent sit down restaurants in brown county. Guess this is added to that list :(

Ripley's Dinner Bell is a local restaurant with super friendly and nice staff who provide excellent, amazing service. The food is delicious and does not disappoint. For southern cooking, this is the place to go. The menu includes items like a very good and large burger, catfish sandwich, chicken strips, wings, salads, and yummy sides. The sirloin steak is a highlight, described as one of the best cuts ever tasted. The country fried steak comes with mashed potatoes and gravy, though brown gravy is not available on certain days and steak sauce is not carried. Appetizers like the basket of onion rings, which are the best ever had, fried pickles, and pickle chips are popular. The unique Cajun candy corn on the cob comes highly recommended. On Saturdays, they serve turkey dinners instead of ribeye steaks. The atmosphere has an amazing vibe that matches its beautiful name, though the building itself appears run down and could use improvement. The napkins are very thin. Despite this, the place has great potential. Customers drive from over an hour away and will definitely be back again to support this local business. The overall experience is worth it, earning five stars.
