Addison and Callie were at the helm today I had them cook the burger, a little rare wow I just took a bite low-carb very delicious and very affordable too. I could’ve got two of them.

Great food. Great ice cream. Really Americana feel. I really love this place. It's what small town America is all about and what it does best. The only reason I couldn't give it five stars was because of the gnats. A plethora of gnats outside. We ate in the car. I don't know if the problem can be solved. I still loved it.

The Tastee Twirl has been an institution in Rockford since my childhood and I’m not sure how many years before. I don’t know what this small town would do without a place for soft serve ice cream cones and shakes after little league games. It’s so close to the park, it’s like a tradition that has to be observed! summertime in Rockford requires afternoon trips to the Tastee Twirl! My favorite is the butterscotch shake with a little bit of marshmallow cream mixed in. Since it isn’t a chain or franchise, you can make special requests like “extra thin” or “extra thick.” I prefer easy sipping through a straw. So I asked for mine thin. do yourself a favor and try this old town favorite!

I got a small chocolate shake, and let me tell you…it was SMALL. to be honest I was quite ticked I paid 6$ for a itty bitty shake. Upon looking at the menu. The prices are ridiculously high.
