Really sad about this one. 4th visit in a row where something in the food is significantly wrong. I think they aren't keeping the coolers cold enough, either bc cakes are melted within minutes (like before leaving the parking lot). Not going into all of it, just finally decided to stop taking my family there entirely. Bottom line for a DQ: the ice cream should never be GRITTY.
Parking: Do not let your kids walk alone through the parking lot, and be careful driving in it. Weird setup fr. Someone almost hit us literally every time we went.

Food is always good. They do usually forget to include sauces. But the main issue is that I have never gone through the drive through without being directed to park and wait. Don’t come here unless you have 10 min to wait for your food.

We ordered in the drive thru and the service was terrible my mom ordered a slushy and it was melted and a liquid and all of are ice cream orders were melted and I asked for sprinkles and there were barely any

6/8/24 -Went through the drive thru. Ordered a blizzard and a cone. Watched the girl make the cone without any gloves on. The ice cream almost fell off the cone twice while she was walking it over to the window and it was ready to fall off when Paul attempted to hand it to me. I asked Paul 3 times if he could just make a new one as this one was falling apart and I didnt feel like eating it off of my lap. First excuse, - it should be fine. 2nd excuse- I can put it in a cup. 3rd excuse- the ice cream is soft right now. With his triple refusal to just make another cone, I asked him to void it off the order as I was no longer interested. After this took place, he came to the window stating “Here, just take your blizzard and have a good night”. The snarky attitude was unnecessary and sure puts a black eye on what used to be a nice local spot. I explained this to him and he blamed his attitude on the fact that he worked a 12 hour day. Welcome to the real world, Paul. If you can’t work a full day and still treat others with respect, you are going to be your own worst enemy regarding any future success. As of right now, you are an enemy to the business and its ownership, as they just lost several frequent customers.
Never again Edinburg DQ. The snarky, disrespectful kids working here have ruined it for us.

The only real downside was that the A/C was not working well.
Odd place....older man was just standing behind employees looking over their shoulders as they were doing jobs. Talk about being watched ....kinda creepy because the employees are teenagers.

We stopped for a blizzard. It was awesome (I typically order the same one every time we stop). This was probably the best Turtle Pecan I've had.
Beware of the brats working here. Always check bigger orders. They'll keep half of it the back hoping you won't notice so they can stuff their faces with your food.
