We visited this bar on a whim. Highly recommend! If you are looking for a good dive bar this is the place! We had such a great time. This is the place to be if you are looking to feel like you are home. Jimmy is awesome!!!!! This is our place when we come to visit!
This is the divest of dive bars. If you don’t like cigarette smoke though don’t go as you will smell like it for a few days. The owner Jimmy works behind the bar, locals are friendly and you can play music on the jukebox. Drinks are cheap and strong. If you like tequila like Jimmy know and you’ll find yourself having a couple of shots with him. His dad opened it in ‘59 and he runs it all now. Great place other than cigarette smoke.
I stumbled upon Beech Hill about 7 years ago when I stayed at the hotel across the street. I instantly fell in love. Jimmy and his wife are always a good time to BS with. Prices were right. Good jukebox . Perfect little dive. I talked about it every chance I could & finally ventured back about 5 years later & it was just as amazing & worth the trip back. The vibes , even as a nonlocal are top notch. Can't wait to venture back again.
