Their pizza is a highlight, with some claiming it's the best outside of New York, though some recent orders lacked extra cheese as requested. The garlic knots are also a hit. The breakfast menu features delicious options like the Western omelet and fried potatoes. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff is friendly and helpful, making visits super pleasant. The restaurant is known for its homemade burgers, Texas toast BLT, chicken chunks, pulled pork fries, and hand-cut fries, all at very reasonable prices. The beautiful interior and excellent service make it a place to return to, though the step at the entrance and raised seating may limit wheelchair accessibility.
Friendly Tavern is willing to accommodate small gatherings, even after hours, and the staff is prompt and welcoming.
