Ol' Bobs ain't what she used to be...too much warm and serve stuff. Service is ok as is the restaurant. Not my favorite anymore but is ok occasionally.

While Bob Evans is a chain restaurant, it is consistently excellent. The Salem location is clean, has great food and very attentive staff. There are lots of new items added to the menu regularly. Tonight’s dinner was Lemon Garlic Chicken. Delicious and the meal was plated in a very appetizing way. FYI - as someone who is often eating in a diet-conscious way, the menu has food options in every calorie range (noted right on the menu). Will definitely go back for more.

Great wait staff, they were friendly and the wait was at a minimum even though I was being served at a busy time. Everything out of the kitchen was perfectly cooked.

Kid-friendliness: Kid menus and crayons were provided.

Wheelchair accessibility: Has ramps for wheelchairs but the doors are barely wide enough for the larger chairs.

The food was really good. Chicken was perfect, mashed potatoes were really good, also the green beans. Got cake and pecan pie for dessert and was tasty. Would have given a better score, but order was for 5:45pm put, waited 20 min with no notice. Went in, long line to check out... Food was sitting there. They apologized, but not good communication at all. Do better.

Me and the wife had dinner yesterday when hardly all places were empty. We waited 5 minutes to be seated after 3 or 4 employees noticed that we were waiting to be seated. Finally it happened, we were seated. We ordered or meal and the biscuits were hard and the waitress told us we will get fresh ones as we did. I ordered potrost (which the portion was about 5 fork portion)but wife had a crappy omelet we ever saw. Shame on yall, money was real, food was wortless

Made an order for takeout. The chicken tenders were the smallest tenders I have ever seen.

Waitress got our order before the table already sat beside us. Rather slow, worked back and forth but brought dirty dishes back to floor when getting jelly for customer.
