Server wasn't having a good day and when he heard us over talking about not leaving him a tip he changed his tune real fast and was much more attentive. Simple things like bringing silverware so we could eat our food and straws for our drinks. Bringing what was ordered and not coping an attitude when asked to bring the right order. Wasn't busy at the time we were there 😞

Giving the food a 3 star bc the portion sizes have gone down. Giving the 3 star on atmosphere bc a nice gentleman was trying to talk to some folks and a waitress kept trying to push him out the door away from her customers. I do love Bob Evans though.

While Bob Evans is a chain restaurant, it is consistently excellent. The Salem location is clean, has great food and very attentive staff. There are lots of new items added to the menu regularly. Tonight’s dinner was Lemon Garlic Chicken. Delicious and the meal was plated in a very appetizing way. FYI - as someone who is often eating in a diet-conscious way, the menu has food options in every calorie range (noted right on the menu). Will definitely go back for more.
