We specifically asked for a milkshake to be made without syrup and it was made with syrup. I repeated my order. I also asked if they were able to make a certain flavor blizzard and they said yes. I get to the window and they said they cannot make it. Young people working without adult supervision and they don't pay attention. Happens every time we go there, which isn't very often and won't happen again.

I was in there on Thursday January 9th I purchased a $30.00 frozen cake. Never in my life have I had a cake that was as freezer burnt as this one. When I called about it and older gentleman by the sounds of it was rude. Both of my children have worked at Dairy Queen. Salem and Alliance and I probably should have went to Alliance because they always seem to be more pleasant and I purchased other cakes that where very good. Also I should have checked the date because this cake was made in December. Very unhappy

Sometimes this location is good but most of the time it's a swing and a miss. Been here multiple times over the past few months just to get home and find out that our order is wrong. Just happened again tonight ordered a Oreo cheesecake blizzard and a Reese's pieces. Reese's was fine but the Oreo cheesecake wasn't close to being right.

I don't know what it is, me or this building, but something is cursed. I have never received an order without at least one error. I know mistakes happen, but this is getting sort of ridiculous. I'm not talking about getting too much sauce or something, I'm talking missing entire items I was charged for. You guys corner the market on Blizzards, and the food is great, otherwise I wouldn't go here. And no, offering to replace it doesn't compensate for driving there and back again with a newborn baby. Get it together.

Visited the Salem Dairy Queen on October 5th 2024 ordered two large French silk blizzards. About 1 1/2 to 2 inches down there were no more add ins. Just plain vanilla ice cream. Very disappointed. The blizzards come with whip topping and should have had a domed lid. But the server pushed a flat lid on the blizzards forcing the whip cream to come though the spoon opening and out around the edge of the lids they were a mess. The staff was also very unfriendly. So sad. Won't be back for awhile.

This place rarely gets our business, and for a good reason. We ordered a blizzard and an ice cream cone. The ponytailed employee taking orders needs correction; if customer service isn't his forte, he should reconsider his role. To top it off, our orders were wrong. The negative reviews for this DQ aren't surprising.
