Dockside Bar + Grill At Tappan Lake

Not sure why you let Sparkle leave but it’s the worst possible thing you could have done. She was the only reason we frequented the establishment. The food is average but Sparkle ALWAYS made it fun. We tried it tonight just to see and the bartender was more interested in talking to one of the waitress than making sure we were doing ok with our drinks. As they talked across us (he was pouring beer and she was standing near the kitchen door) I now know the bartender feels like he should have bought her ice cream but she isn’t eating it until September because of a wedding, etc. etc. etc. And good for them. But my glass was empty. We asked for our check and left. We won’t be back!

If you are going to close the restaurant for a private event you may want to make the public aware before they take the time to drive here to eat

Makes me very sad how bad things are now . Restaurant was hardly full. Waited over 20 min for regular drinks and greater than 1 hour fourty min for food. Food was decent. Would love to eat at marina but wait is way way way to long especially with kids. Please try to improve

Went for the Easter buffet. Everything was great & the staff was very accommodating! Can't wait to go back.

The Haddock is amazing! The crab mac is delicious or if your in the mood for a great burger the smash burgers are great! Good food with an amazing view over looking Tapan Lake!

My husband and I stopped for dinner today. Service by Pam was great, thank you Pam. Our fish dinners were excellent, we will go back.

Lousy service. Staff just passed us by. No one cared when we told the front desk. This place does not care about customers.

My son and I visited this beautiful restaurant overlooking Tappen lake today for lunch. The service was excellent! The staff was attentive and polite making us feel welcomed and at home! We will most definitely be back soon!

we visited dockside 10/18/24. after learning it was under new management. what a difference. John and the crew have made changes for the better. great service and food. we learned they will be open all winter. we will be back again.

Not sure how anyone can give a good revue of this place. Fast food and pizza are better. Service is horrible, attitude sucked, when I asked fir a drink to start I was told "I am the only one waiting on tables" . Where the hell was manager? I understand how hard it is to get employees but stop with excuses. If they changed the menu to fit a waterside restaurant it would go a long way. Hope someone else takes it o er next year

Walked in for first time got seated proceeded to wait other folks came in sat down sat there for 20 minutes with zero acknowledgment other people were seated by one of the waitresses and she walked right past us few minutes later and took the people she seated drink order will never set foot in there again

Was excited to try this place. Was seated and never waited on. People were seated after us and got drinks. So dissatisfied and left.

I had the smash burger and my husband got the baked cod. Really good food and nice view from the outside patio.
