Staff called police on a customer that became angry (not violent) because he waited over a hour for his food after his entire table was served and he spoke to many of the staff before he raised his voice.. what would you do.My reply,Let me reiterate. That customer was not me. Whom ever responded to this should be ashamed of themselves for their asinine response.

Booked a VRBO in this tiny historic town. The Tavern was in walking distance and we absolutely loved it. The bar manager is fantastic, the music trivia night was so much fun. The food and drinks 10/10. Would definitely recommend this bar to anyone!Kid-friendliness: Had our three kids with us. They enjoyed their experience and food.
My son and I stop in the Black Diamond Tavern at least once a month to always find great service and atmosphere. The Black Diamond is 5 minutes from Tecumseh riding trails so it is a go to. Thank you Amanda, Sarah, Rebecca and to the day time cook , you all are doing a great job.Parking: The Black Diamond is on a hill so parking brake required.

The food as always was great but the service we received from Sarah Mitchell was unacceptable, rude, had to be asked a few times for napkins, and refills .Do jobs not drug test anymore? Clearly see she is on something.Edit: I will not take down a true post, go ahead suprise drug test your employee , and if you “know me” why didn’t any of you say hey when I picked up our food Saturday ? Also I’ve never threatened her, just unfortunately found out she was selling someone close to I know drugs out of your business .

Their burgers are amazing using local beef you can taste the difference. Staff is very friendly and quick. The black diamond lager Beer is amazing. We usually stop about once a week. The cheesy bread app is also amazing. Great place and one of those hidden gems.
I was here for dinner, on a Saturday night. The steady drizzle kept the crowd away, but there were quite a few patrons when I came in around 6pm.I ordered a BLT pizza for dinner, and was pleasantly surprised by the quality; 2 thumbs up!
