First time visiting this charming restaurant. It was a beautiful day and we decided to sit on the patio tastfully decorated in 19th century charm. Our waitress greeted us and gave us beverages and we waited... kitchen service was obviously slow as we drank our beverages and baked out in the hot sun for way too long without a refill. Food finally came and we were able to get our beverage refilled.
Food was excellent perhaps it was just an off day?

No wait on a Thursday evening. Nice ambiance. Live music in the bar area. Friendly service. Large portion sizes.

I have been before & had a good experience but went last week and was deeply disappointed. The waitress made my party uncomfortable with her jokes, our orders came out wrong and she forgot to remedy them, and the food made us ill. I will not be returning.

We requested an outdoor table under the gazebo at 4:00 for happy hour, but were told those tables were reserved for dinner. Instead, we were seated at a table with a small umbrella that provided little shade. The frustrating part is that we left before 6:00 and not a single gazebo table was occupied the entire time. It felt unnecessarily rigid and disappointing that we couldn’t be accommodated.

The happy hour drink menu was extensive, but only one food option was available, and it was mediocre. Between the lack of flexibility and underwhelming food, the experience left me with a sour note. Unfortunately, I have no desire to return.

Food was good but I was told my to go order was ready to come pick it up. When I got there it was not even started in the kitchen and I had to wait over 20 minutes.

A true hidden gem of a restaurant. Excellent food, I love the Austin powder chicken sandwich and the Cobb salad. Various dates have live music so check the website for dates and times. They just extended the patio cover so more outdoor seating opinions in bad weather.

Worst dining experience ever. Not sure how this place is still in business. It took 3 hours from sitting down to getting the check. The slowest service I have ever had. I could list about 20 issues but Ill share a few. The server was so bad I actually felt sorry for him. My friend ordered a Cabernet. Waiter asked what is a Cabernet? They messed up the drink order several times. A half hour at a time would go by without seeing the server. We would just sit there with empty drinks. No bread, no water, nothing but empty drink glasses. After 2.5 hours dinner arrives but he never brought my salad. I have had better steaks in hospital cafeterias. The food was awful. The most bizarre thing was after the dinner was served I asked for salt and pepper which he brought. After 5 min and while I was eating the waiter came and asked if we were done with the pepper because the kitchen needs it. Yes they had only one pepper shaker for the entire restaurant and the kitchen. Bizarre. On top of all that and more the place is very expensive. They also have a bug problem, we had flys and mosquitos attacking us all night.

Stumbled on this place on our way home to Tennessee. Great food, great service, and good music on a Saturday evening.

I stopped in after work bc I love the horseradish crusted steak. Joe was my bartender and he listened to what my previous grievance was the first time I came and had it. He made sure my steak came out perfect. And it was! With all these fancy restaurants charging 60$ for a strip steak. Theirs is 38. It was phenomenal! Joe was awesome! Thank you Joe for listening! And for the perfect steak! It truly made my night!

My wife and I travel and eat out at many different options from Mom and Pop Diners to high end offerings , and we are sorry to say that we were so very disappointed with our meals at the Glenwillow Grille. My wife ordered a side salad as an up sale with her meal and it was awful. Limp greens that looked like they had been sitting out all day. They were returned to the Kitchen. She ordered the tenderloin tips cooked medium. They were $ 30 and to say they were overcooked is being optimistic. They were cooked beyond well done and were tough and chewy , but worst of all they were absolutely flavorless !! I order fish at almost every opportunity and so I was happy to see that they offer an Old Man and The Sea Seafood Platter which I ordered for $ 23. Nothing special here , just plain filets and some out of the box breaded shrimp laid out on top of a bed of overcooked french fries. Red Lob they are not !! The worst part was their House Made Tartar Sauce and Cole Slaw. Both were absolutely devoid of any flavor. I mean , how do you make Tartar Sauce or Cole Slaw with no life or flavor ?? Wow were we surprised by this very bad meal experience. To say we will not be returning is an understatement. We will continue to spend our dinner dollars at a very nice INN in Welshfield.

Enjoyed a surprise birthday for a friend at the Glenwillow Grille. Specialty selections were placed buffet style so we could choose what we wanted to eat. Our party enjoyed one whole room with wait staff handling the drink orders.
