This is an old school place. The atmosphere reflects this. These are the places I love. You can see they value their history. My gf and I were immediately seated, only waited no more than 10 minutes once our order was taken. Speedy excellent service, great food, great prices. Will be back again and again and again.

Not as good as when Jim owned it but still a staple in Solon and still probably the best burger in town. Sometimes hard to find a seat, but worth the wait.

Great diner find, filled with locals. Everything you would expect to find at a cool diner. Food was prepared as ordered, came out fast, and was very good. Service was spectacular, she was the only one serving, taking orders, delivering the food, answering the phone and working the register.

Popped into Jim’s for a quick breakfast with a pal and I was greeted by the most lovely server Jill! She was very knowledgeable of the menu and gave the best recommendations, but I went with a classic scrambled eggs and bacon with a black coffee! If you’re looking for yummy home styled, Good ol fashioned breakfast, this is the place to be! It reminded me of my childhood, waking up early to the smell of bacon on a crisp Sunday morning with the family. This place was not only nostalgic, but it felt like home! Thank you Jill for a wonderful easy going morning!

Love this mom/pop vibe restaurant. It also has a 50/60's feel. Everyone was so nice.

Wonder where your grandparents ate back when? This would be the place. Oldies kinda place with bar stools and booth seating, small hole in the wall. Old wall jukebox at each table that doesn't operate. Nice atmosphere with oldy music blasting. Restrooms back through the kitchen. Pricing average. Waitress very busy due to just her taking orders, seating, serving and register. Hmm, but 2 cooks. Coffee strong. Had eggs and homemade corned beef hash. I am used to potatoes in my hash. This was dryer. They had sourdough and rye for the gluten intolerant. Plenty of napkins. Booths had plenty of wear and holes. Needs a remodel. I would try it for the atmosphere and experience.

Excellent food, great and friendly service, great coffee. What more could you ask of a breakfast spot?
