Mitchell's Ice Cream is great for take out or dine in. Their ice cream is so good!

My visit today was on a Sunday at approx 6pm or so. I accidently placed the wrong Sundae order and was willing to eat it anyway, but I thought what the heck I'll just be honest and explain what happened. The staff was nice enough to correct my order and offer the Turtle Sundae I desired which was delicious as usual.

Here is the Plus/Minus on this store:
Plus - The ice cream always tastes delicious; the service is fast and excellent every time. Even if the line is long it always moves fast. The temperature in the dining area is always comfy whether it is hot or cold outside. The dining area is always clean. Lots of delicious flavors and speciaty items like shakes and sundaes. This has become my fave ice cream spot in NEO.
Minus: Approx 6 unruly, loud, disruptive youth arrived near the end of my visit. I wanted to escort them right out the door, fortunately they didn't stay long. Perhaps this is a new trend in Solon because a similar thing happened in nearby Chick-Fil-A Solon a few weeks ago. Oops I spoke too soon, the bad kis came back :(

The size of the ice cream cakes has shrunk by at least 25% since the last one I purchased a few months ago. I couldn't believe it when I opened the box. The layer of fudge on top was so thin it was a joke. The cake was dry. No fudge between the ice-cream and cake either. Super cheap. On level with something you could purchase at Wal Mart. Pure greed at this point. I won't ever buy a cake from here again.

The workers are pleasant.

We tried Mitchell's a little over a year ago. We've visited the Solon location several times and each time is a pleasant experience. Their ice cream is smooth and delicious. The staff is friendly and the store is clean.

Excellent service and fantastic ice cream treats!

The ice cream and freshly made cone were incredibly delicious. The scoops were generous. The store was clean.
They have cute little tables and crayons for kids. We enjoyed our ice cream while our toddler played nearby.

I really enjoy the variety of ice cream flavors, although I think their prices are a little high. Quality and service is great though! I always get the taster’s duo since you can get 2 different flavors of ice cream for $5 and it’s not small. Some of my favorite flavors are chocolate peanut butter cup, black raspberry chocolate chunk, campfire s’mores, and chocolate caramel brownie! Always ask for a sample if you’re trying something new!!

Hands down you must go!!

Everyone was friendly and helpful. The seating was was great and I love that they had a table dedicated to children. The children had paper and crayons available to keep them occupied.

Favorite ice cream location! Friendly employees and freshly made ice cream daily.

Sundaes were delicious! Nice size, too.
