A pleasant family diner. It was somewhat cold inside and we kept jackets on even though it was 55 outside. Place could use a little touching up but the food was good

Visited for a late breakfast and the food was good—reasonably priced and satisfying. There’s lots of parking and plenty of seating, which made things easy. The decor is pretty basic, but that’s not a dealbreaker. My only real gripe: it was chilly inside. I was warm enough with a jacket on, but I’d rather not have to wear one while eating. If they turned up the heat a bit, it’d make for a much more comfortable experience and I would have given it 5 stars

Was at Jamie's Flea Market on a Saturday morning and saw the diner, after a walk around the flea market we went to the Diner! It was a cute Diner, the setup was very diner like!! I enjoyed that part. the people working there (3 of them chain smoking in front of the door upon arrival) the waitress never introduced the self. The food was cold, cold eggs, pancakes, and bacon was probably a day old. The hashbrowns were warm and good. I wish that's all I would of ordered. The butter they brought out with the pancakes were pretty much frozen.

What a cute place!
The food was great!
Service was wonderful, our waitress Tracy was on top of everything.
Very little wait for hot food made to order.
This place looks small from the outside, but once inside there is ample seating in the front of house and in the back room.
Stop in for the breakfast special which is two eggs, home fries, and toast for just $5.99 You can add meat for additional change and still only pay $7.49!!! This special is only till 11:00 am so go early.

First time visiting this restaurant. Kind of a dull atmosphere inside. We went on a Saturday night and to our surprise it was only open until 5:30. We arrived at around 4:45. The entire meal was pretty much below average for a Diner. The coffee was awful, the kind that leaves a nasty aftertaste. My wife ordered the roast beef dinner and I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak, both with salad and a potato. The salads were anemic, with just one hunk of a poor tomato, one cucumber slice and a few slices of red onion. The roast beef was sliced, as if it came from a deli and they put dark gravy over it. Not very good at all, and the home fries were a bit bland. The whole dish suffered an assault from salt. As did my small Chicken Fried Steak with mashed potatoes. The steak was soggy and had an odd taste, the dried mashed potatoes had small chunks of potato within. Both meals had very little quality for the cost. We might come back and try their breakfast, but I hope and pray they change the brand of coffee they're using, especially at $2.99 a cup!

We had an amazing breakfast. ..... Then our car broke down and the staff continued to help my family and I for a good portion of the day. The owner even came out to offer us help. We won't ever forget the Amherst. Thank you again for everything.

A great place to stop off of the Ohio Turnpike. It looks like a small town local diner. The food and service were great. 3 stars on atmosphere, just because it looks like it could use some new furniture.
