I have always been a big fan of Sam’s until my most recent experience with the Sam’s tire and battery center in South Point, OH. I’ve spent $4500 in last 2 years at this location. My tires are supposed to have lifetime warranty. A year ago I bout 4 tires. 2 months ago I had a flat and they couldn’t repair it so they replaced it with no issues. Then this week I went in with broken belts in both rear tires and the guy walked out (roughly 4 feet away from tire) and squinted at one tire and immediately said that I must have over inflated them and it’s my fault. That I would have to buy the tires outright. Didn’t check pressure, touch tires, pull it in the bay NOTHING! I explained that is the one thing I am absolutely certain didn’t happen. I don’t even look at miles to empty etc. the display on my instrument panel has been on tire pressure since I purchased the truck. He just shrugged and said it’s my fault and I’d have to buy them. I called the customer service number to try and get help with the situation but the call center just kept trying to transfer me back to the location I just left. When my membership expires in August I will absolutely NOT be renewing it. Guy was horrible, unprofessional and all around rude. I would not recommend the tire center to my worst enemy.

I love shopping at Sam’s. I don’t remember a bad experience. However, there was good reviews online for the optical department. But that was not the case. My husband and I are senior citizens. I was told the cash price for a visit was $100. Fortunately, I had Humana vision insurance. So, after the visit the optometrist took a copy of my insurance card and charged me and my husband $75 for a visit. I was told I would get a refund after the insurance paid. The insurance paid $101 and I paid $75. So as a senior citizen I paid $75 more than if I would have paid cash. Nick Webers webpage stated he took what Medicare paid. Not true. He took advantage of senior citizens. What kind of person does that. I will never use Sam’s optical services again.

A big shout out and thank you to the employees at Sam’s club in Southpoint that helped my mom and dad today! We basically discovered that mom cannot tolerate shopping anymore, she collapsed on dad and the employees came in to help, one put her in a wheelchair and sat with her at the front and the other went around with dad to help him find his groceries quicker!!! What wonderful people!!!! Every day is a new day of what my mom cannot do anymore, so from now on she will stay with me or another family member to watch her while dad goes out shopping, he still needs to get out and breathe a little!! It’s hard to tell him these things, if you know my dad, he hates to ask for help and he is hardheaded!!!lol But just remember, there are still great people, total strangers in this world!!!❤️❤️ From Tina Sansom Kelly

I was approached by an employee and asked to sign up for a Sam’s credit card 2 days before Christmas and the deal was spend $100 on the charge card and $100 credit would be applied to my first bill. These were Her exact words! When I checked out I asked again to be sure I would receive $100 credit and again was told that I would. I received my first bill and no $100 credit so I called and was told that the credit is applied over several billing cycles but I would still need to make a payment and also it was going to add interest. They are lying in order to get customers to sign up and something needs to be done. I have a sam’s credit card bill to pay now and this is not something I can afford. I only signed up for the credit and was then going to use it as my main credit card but after speaking with 2 people, one who I was told was a manager, they refused to help me. They said they have to abide by the credit special. I didn’t sign anything in the store so this is nothing but a scam to get unexpected customers looking for a credit that they were lied to about. Never again! Beware of these employees as every one of them will lie!

This is the first time we've used sams bakery for a custom order. We ordered a smash cake for our daughter's first birthday. We chose vanilla because she had not been introduced to chocolate and wasn't sure how her stomach would handle it. Paid $15 for it. When she dove into the cake it was chocolate. Thank goodness she was not allergic! They should not be making mistakes like this when knowing is for a baby. The whole inside flavor is a pretty big mistake. Especially since the cupcakes that come around it were all vanilla as well. Just pretty upsetting and disappointing.

I do recommend Sam’s Club for the friendly staff, however, If you sign up for Sam’s Club through the Groupon App for the special savings, you will not get them. The store management and staff are not properly trained on how to use the Groupon special.

I've always loved Sam's but hated shopping on weekends or holidays because of the checkout lines. Now that they offer Scan and Go, you scan items as you shop and bypass the lines and go straight to the scanner at the door! My kind of shopping!

They didn’t have the instant savings price down today When I stopped to buy dog food . Then when I asked them about the instant saving they said it ended yesterday. I said I would like to have it for the savings price (2.00) off . And the floor manager acted like I had asked for her right arm . They gave me the 2.00 dollars off but acted like it was a big deal !! You had over 12hrs to remove the sale price tickets !! Not my fault your people can’t do their job!!
