So glad we found this place. The food is homemade, even the bread and pancakes! They also have a grab and go area filled with sandwiches, parfaits, Mac and cheese, and sodas. I had the best breakfast sandwich and iced chai I've had in a very long time and will certainly be back.

Food was amazing, you can tell its all made from scratch, coffee was excellent and the service was really fast. Probably not going to go to any other breakfast places for a while.

We were camping not too far from here and google searched breakfast places near by. The country grind sounded perfect. We arrived at a small quaint diner. We felt welcomed when we walked in, it’s Sunday and they have a smaller menu specifically for Sundays- which was perfect! We ordered the pancakes and haystack. Portions were enough per person, not too much. My fiancé and I actually shared the pancakes and full order haystack so we could try both and it was enough for both of us. The inside was super cute and we loved the decor. I also appreciated the coolers full of other options like macaroni and potato salads, fruit parfaits, baked goods etc. the coffee menu was extensive but the coffee was good and the latte was on point. We will definitely be back!

The Country Grind is a hidden gem in the heart of Southington Ohio on st rt 422. The people working there are so friendly and willing to make your stay the best. The food is amazing. They have coffee, grab and go coolers that are stocked with a variety of foods and food you can order if you want something from the menu. If you haven’t stopped here you are missing out! Cash and card both work the same.

While the service was adequate, the food leaves A LOT to be desired. I do believe the only part of my traditional breakfast that wasn't reheated from leftovers were the eggs. The bacon and potatoes were barely warm. The toast smelled funny. And my partners sausage and biscuits were so bad that he couldn't eat them, too salty and lukewarm. We watched both our plates come out of a warmer...another indicator of reheated food, imo. I'm not overly picky about my food but what we got conpared to the price we paid for it was very low-bar food. And it looks like the high reviews for this place were largely from the previous name of the business...not sure how that plays into the current below average offers but I wouldn't recommend eating here.

I wanted to like it so bad. But unfortunately it just did not meet the expectations that McDvitt’s had before them. Things tasted different and not in a good way. Also, for a grab and go cafe, they need to get a different POS system. Having someone manually put in prices for every item just seems so counterproductive. They have one girl waiting on tables, running food, taking care of to go customers, and making coffees. It’s just a lot for one person. If you’re going to keep your system that way then you need to at least have two people, so one person can take care of to go customers and the other person can make coffees and wait on tables.

Stopped in on a whim just traveling through (we’re from Idaho) and WOW! So impressed. The sweetest staff, a cute little shop and the BEST drinks (smoothie and breve) . 10/10 all the way around! Well done! Definitely recommend without hesitation! Thank you!
