My wife and I always try to find local mom and pop-type restaurants when we travel. So when we were going to meet some friends from Spencerville we met at My Place. Now that I pastor a local church It has become a regular stop where I can see friends that include quite a few of our parishioners. It felt like home just walking in the door the first time we went there. There are historic photos of the community, old signs for long-ago beverages, gas stations, and other local spots. A couple of big buck head mounts look over the crowd. This is a hometown restaurant in every sense of the word. Past high school alumni meet here regularly. And it isn't all window dressing. The food is great too and prices are reasonable. I can regularly eat for $10 or less! They use fresh hamburger for their sandwiches, their club sandwich is served Dagwood-style and is a full meal on bread. They have daily specials, and Ariann and Kandice will greet you with a smile and make sure your dining experience is pleasant while you are enjoying some amazing comfort food. I highly recommend this place.

2nd time here and they have the best food here.....this time I got a BBQ cheeseburger it had onion rings on it and a large order of fries and a piece of strawberry rhubarb pie it was delicious...

Burgers were very good and very big. The mozzarella sticks the cheese was stringy and yummy. Definitely delicious.
