Ice tea was so old it looks like dirty water. Tea should be clear not cloudy, sent it back. Manager should see that tea is fresh. Ordered house salad. A lot of the lettuce was brown and wilted. The hamburger was ok.

Ordered 6 oz sirloin, mashed potatoes, and house salad. Salad and potatoes okay, not great but not bad. Steak was a little tough. It was close to hotel so it served the purpose I guess.

But to put things into perspective the 6 oz sirlion is listed at $16.49 and then $2.99 was added for upgrade to salad (I was not told this when ordering) so a total of $19.48.
You can get a similar 6 oz sirloin at Texas Roadhouse for $14.49 with no up-charge for the salad, plus they give your outstanding rolls. Texas steak is much better, $5 cheaper, and the music is better.

I want to start by saying, the food was delicious. No issues there. However, if you plan to come with a large group, any more than 4, good luck sitting together. Sure you can sit at a high top, but with an older group that is not the case. This is at least the second time I’ve experienced this. They will sit you at a table and booth next to each other, have fun yelling to each other. Each time there’s also been issues with our orders, brining out the wrong sides, and even getting an entire order wrong, waiting for an extra 15 minutes for them to bring the new entree out while you watch everyone else eat. Next comes the advertising. All over the store and menus it states Happy Hour is on Sunday, 11-9. Guess how surprised we were when they tell us Sunday is no longer included in happy hour.. if that’s the case, take down the signs and change menus! If you’re still reading, just know you’ll still be “Eating good in the neighborhood”, but the restaurant is not “Doing good in the neighborhood”.

Ordered a bacon burger, sauce was too spicy for me. Even told the waiter that I didn’t want anything spicy before I ordered. Not the issue tho, no one came around to see if anything was needed or anything. I would have eaten the burger if someone would have came around, I would have gotten mayo to eat with it. But no one did!
Wasn’t asked if I wanted anything else and they didn’t offer to remove it from my bill. My ice water had black things floating in it, and the other meal that was ordered was disgusting. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Would have left 0 stars if that was an option!!

I worked at Applebees 20+ years ago and boy how times have changed! My family went to the Springboro location at 6pm and requested a table for 8 (it was my nephews birthday). I was asked if “I called ahead”…no, I didn’t know it was necessary for Monday night. There was an entire section that was “closed” because the host said they didn’t have a server for that section and we were told we couldn’t push two tables together because of a fire hazard. Since when are restaurants not accommodating to customers?

So, we sat apart- 4 in a booth and 4 at a table for my nephews birthday dinner. Definitely disappointing.

Takes a while to get in and seated most days but the food is pretty good and the service is good when staffed correctly. Definitely not the servers fault! We’ll go back often.

Went on 4/27/25 for dinner waited 10 minutes for the hostess. Then she said 15 20 min wait . Half the parking lot was full. What a joke no wonder I haven't been there in years

Server great, food good too. Music blows and is too loud. Do they ever look at the demographics of the customers?
Club music, wicked loud for dinner, really? Maybe late Fridays or Saturdays .

Recommended dishes: Burger and Fries, 8 Oz Sirloin Steak Mashed Potatoes Broccoli, Oriental Chicken Salad

Decided to stop in for a quiet dinner only to watch the host place the only six parties on top of each other in the same section. Three servers were working in this area and why the 75% of the restaurant was left empty is beyond me.

We will not return any time soon

First time at this Applebee's but nothing really stood out.

Got a burger and steak and both tasted good but the steak was well overcooked and the burger was a pretty thin patty and not really what you would expect. Steam broccoli was 3 out of 5 and the mash potatoes were spot on.

Overall for a burger I would go else where and get a little more for about the same cost. The steak, we could have had another one made but with everything combined we figured why not just finish up and hopefully they informed the kitchen.

Overall really a 3 out of 5.

Absolutely terrible experience at the bar. Watched the bartender serve several other patrons multiple beers and refuse to serve my friend. Said she was slurring and had the right to refuse to service her. Could be a speech impediment…. He could’ve cared
Less. DEI. Just kept servicing his friends. We won’t be returning.
