After a trip to the grocery store with some family, we were more than ready for sandwiches, pizza, and cold beers. Double Days looked like the right spot, was close by, and most of what we tried delivered
The crispy haddock sandwich was huge and full of flavor with the right balance of toppings. The meat lovers pizza had a great mix of toppings without being greasy, and the balsamic personal pizza was done just right with a nicely baked crust that was crunchy
The only letdown was the club sandwich. It was covered in too much mayo, which made it oily and took away from what could have been a solid classic. However, the French Onion soup made up for the sandwich issue. The overall winner was the Italian which had the perfect bread. Mad I didnt order it myself as it looked delicious and cousin raved about it throughout the meal
Service was so-so and very slow for a Saturday, especially since the restaurant was not that busy. The food was good, but picking up the pace would make a big difference
Overall, it is a decent place when you want a variety of food optipns and a beer after running errands. Just plan on being there for a bit

To start off, took clients for an early dinner. And place was cold. Told server she said they can’t change the ac temp. So the rest of the dinner seemed to be rushed. So this a tough review.

Mediocre compfort like food, very loud, and will not repeat. This was my first and last time at any of these establishments. The acoustics inside are horrible, especially when dining with older people that have hearing aids.
Doubleday's Grill & Tavern: A welcoming neighborhood spot known for its classic American comfort food and relaxed tavern atmosphere. The menu features burgers, sandwiches, salads, and hearty entrees, alongside a solid selection of beers and cocktails. The environment is casual and friendly, making it ideal for family dinners or casual meetups with friends. Portions are generous, and the service is usually warm and attentive. Overall, it’s a reliable choice for a laid-back dining experience with familiar flavors.

This place has great food and a wide variety. We typically order our food for pick up and it never disappoints. Portions are large and always cooked well. The Monster pizzas are legendary and the side salads are a meal on their own. I honestly can’t remember ever receiving a bad meal from here.
